We came here 2 days ago. We walked upstairs, and they were very busy. The only thing the server said to us was, "Since you didn't make a reservation, you need to leave". My girlfriend and I enjoyed celebrating our occasion at Malone's. (Much friendlier staff) There is no doubt in my mind that the guy server is somehow related to the owners. To be so rude, and that's the only interaction the staff had with us - either he is entitled, or he is just rude to everyone. When this business closes, it will be due to its unprofessional staff.

I’ve been going to this place for over 20 years. I remember when they didn’t have the fancy building! I came by myself today on my birthday. As soon as I told the waitress, it was my birthday she automatically had an attitude with me and told me that I could only order certain things. I explained that I just wanted a sandwich. I waited for an hour, and I started to get antsy. She put my order in right before I left. I heard her put my order in after I had waited for over an hour. I got mad and left and told them that they don’t know how to treat people on their birthday and that they assume that I’m not gonna tip, but I actually am a really good tipper and then I would never come back. I called after I left and asked to speak to the manager. I got The same lady who didn’t wanna serve me any food I had to beg her for the free bread everyone else in her section had bread and food. I didn’t yell or curse or anything and they hung up on me. They didn’t even try to accommodate me or try to do anything to keep me as a customer. That’s not how you’re supposed to treat somebody on their birthday. I guess they want large groups of people to come in while I was alone. I’ve always liked the food at this place, but you know what after the way I was treated after being hung up on I won’t be going back. I suggest you go somewhere else on your birthday because they assume you’re not going to tip them and then they don’t even give you free bread!

Restaurant was clean and staff was....meh...not the most professional. With that said, the food was embarrassing. I went in for lunch and the lasagna tasted like, as my wife put it, "assembled, not combined with love or passion". All you could taste was acidic tomato sauce and overcooked noodles that mushed in your mouth. There have been other reviews with the exact same problem. Food issues seem to be frequent in this area as so many restaurants are disappointing, I'm not sure how so many of them are in business. Either do Italian food OR Greek food, don't try to be the master of both and wind up failing in the process. Cut the menu down by 75% and put care and love and passion into the dishes. In reading reviews after eating here, it seems like management/the owner take a defensive stance rather than take customer feedback to heart. I sincerely hope that changes as it's necessary to listen to your customers and although food is very much subjective, there are easy faux pas to avoid. Play silly games, win silly prizes. Will not be returning.

Server took literally 10-15 minutes to even say hi to us and about 20 minutes until she gave us WATER. The bread sticks were the best part but went downhill from there. The Caesar salad had the dressing on the side (which is only weird for a Caesar salad) its so much better when tossed like a normal chef would do. Server never told us her name and never even checked on us and someone else asked if we wanted a box. I would be understanding if it was busy but it definitely didn’t seem like it. And dude… the chicken Alfredo tasted like noodles and MILK. There was no flavor to it, it was the worst chicken Alfredo I’ve ever had. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review but damn this was a pretty poopy experience. I would be fine if I never thought of this place again

Fun, flavorful lunch with great food and even better vibes and bartender, Jen! Portofino in East Ridge was such a great lunch spot—delicious food, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere all around. We started with a fresh salad and homemade Thousand Island dressing, which was so good—creamy, flavorful, and clearly made from scratch. The breadsticks with marinara were absolutely delicious too—warm, soft, and paired perfectly with that rich, homemade-tasting sauce. The House Special pizza did not disappoint—loaded with toppings and full of flavor in every bite and you get two!!. And the real star entrée was the angel hair pasta with shrimp and chicken in a creamy Alfredo with mushrooms—it was incredible. Perfectly cooked, rich without being too heavy, and packed with flavor. Every bite felt indulgent and satisfying. And we can’t forget the drinks—my husband was thrilled with the $2 Natty Light special, which made the whole meal even better! The atmosphere really stood out thanks to the bartender, who was so friendly and fun—it was even her birthday, which added an extra celebratory vibe to the whole experience. Great food, great prices, and a welcoming, upbeat environment—Portofino is a spot we’ll definitely be coming back to! We had so much leftovers we fed my Dad and Mother in law with meals on wheels
