At Edley’s Bar-b-que we treat everyone who walks through the door like an old family friend. We pride ourselves with not taking any shortcuts in the kitchen. Our meats are smoked low and slow using Southern white oak. The sides are made from scratch daily with the same amount of attention. Everything is done with intention, from the food to the service to the music. We strive to serve the best food we can make and prove ourselves a worthy host—one plate at a time. Guest favorites include our brisket, macaroni and cheese, banana pudding, and our famous boozy milkshake, the Bushwacker. We are open lunch and dinner with a full-bar, and we offer catering for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate lunches, family reunions, and more.

- YGYour Local Guide1 day ago3.0It's hit or miss. Not in consistency but in items. The brisket sucked. The pulled pork was good. The potato salad was not good, the green beans were great. Banana pudding was solid. Overall kind of meh. Great atmosphere and fast service. Friendly easy fun place just meh food.

She offered suggestions, let me sample a side (greatly appreciated), and was overall friendly and inviting. You don't always get this kind of service. Will return just based on her service. Plus the food is always good.

I have yet to eat anything there that I haven’t liked. Management is awesome and very accommodating as well. They once delivered my food to me after I incorrectly ordered online since I was stuck at work with no way to get there and retrieve my food.

I went for the fried catfish and received it fried crispy golden within ten minutes of ordering. The grits casserole blew the competition out of the water and the baked beans were baller. The banana pudding was the correct thickness and momma and grandma would both approve. Highly reccommend!
- TCTanya CarrollSep 28, 20263.0I was a little disappointed, not what I expected. You go to the counter and order and pay and they give you your cups and a number to bring you your meal. I can get that service at Arby's, and for the price the food itself was not that impressive. Just not my kind of place. If I'm dinning out at a restaurant I typically expect to be able to sit and enjoy my time with my family and friends, not get up to order an appetizer, get up to order my meal, get up to get a refill, get up to get condiments, salt and pepper, get up to get to-go containers, get up to bus and clean my own table etc. With all that I would just prefer a buffet that is cheaper and that I know to expect to pretty much wait on myself. On top of that we made the mistake of sitting outside where we got swarmed with flies and watched a rat keep poking it's head in and out of the wood pile which made me feel less than confident about their cleaning and/or pest control practices.
