As a former employee of a chick fil a I sympathize with the employees having to work on a holiday, however.... today is 4th of July and the restaurant closed at 4pm. We came in at 3:10pm. While I get everyone wants to get out and enjoy their holiday; the place was busy and the employees seemed more concerned about cleaning and getting out than they did about serving the guests currently in their dining room. 1) the play place closed literally 45 minutes before 4pm so my toddler was unable to play 2) the men's restroom closed 20 minutes early leaving my husband unable to use the bathroom before leaving for the rest of our road trip 3) I could hear the front of house employees asking for food and every single order was in the red which I'm guessing back of house was trying to reduce food waste and not put out so much since closing time was soon but the dining room was packed with people waiting on orders, refills, etc. I myself went and traded in 2 toys for cones and waited over 10 minutes for them. It looked like no leadership was there to help the young girls at the front who were scrambling to get everything done and it seemed like they were out of everything. It was just way too busy for them to be doing all the breaking down and cleaning they were doing. Again I get it, you wanna get out, but this was such a disappointing experience for us as we were traveling on the road and just wanted to get some wiggles out, empty our bladders, and eat some food (which was great). But please let's not rush the closing process!

Waited in a long line just to receive the wrong order. The line was too long to go back through to have it corrected. But you shouldn't have to in the first place. The ask your name when you order to make sure you receive the correct order. They never asked my name when they handed me my food and just walked off. Pretty disappointed.
