- BHBrandy HardeeSep 18, 20264.0Love Five Guys, but not the pricing, so when they offer BOGO cheeseburgers for National Cheeseburger day, you have to go. Just be warned that you will be waiting along with every one else in the city…lol. We waited over 45 minutes past the scheduled pickup time, but we didn’t mind waiting because we had no where else to be and the complimentary peanuts kept us satisfied while we waited. That being said, several others were not happy with the wait times that were well past the time that the app said the order would be ready. We had the double party melts tonight and they were so good! Huge burgers with inverted buns grilled to perfection. The burgers were so juicy and the cheese was so melty. The perfect combination for a tasty burger. We both added A1 sauce which is a must and the hubby added grilled mushrooms and onions. We ordered a regular Cajun fry to share and still couldn’t eat them all. I small would have been plenty.

Now, about every 2 years we will try to order something. Last night we tried again for the first time in years. We paid $8 for a large order of fries. They were wrapped in a small paper like a sandwich and the rest of the fries dumped n bag like usual. And the whole order wasn’t cooked enough and soggy. Gross soggy. The fries used to come in hard plastic/paper cups/container. And they used to be really fresh and good. These were awful!!! I think they were old fries they recooked. My wife said she saw them pull them up out of grease. Who knows if it was a fresh batch. Either way, I didn’t eat any and threw them away. We aren’t going to wait another 2 years. I told my wife we aren’t spending another $1 here. I’m done. I hope another business eventually takes this space over. I’m tired of throwing money away here. I won’t do it again.
