Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- W1Weazl 1981Jul 19, 20261.0We went twice this past week. The first time we ordered three, 9 pieces honey bbq wings, they got the order wrong and brought honey butter. To make up for it they gave us free Whataburger coupons. So we went back on the weekend and decided to do burgers and order sides and drinks. The first guy to bring our first part of our order was completely high and wreaked of pot. I was so happy when the second half of our order came out and it was another gentleman, who also wreaked of marijuana. We finished our meal and my daughter's went to the register to order some shakes to go. They came back and said they changed their mind. I went to see why and realized the entire kitchen wreaked of pot. A gentleman came around the corner toward the counter and asked if we needed anything. I said no, that they were going to order shakes but the smell of pot was nauseating and we would just be leaving. He sent the manager out to speak with my husband. They offered more coupons for free burgers. No thanks! Why do they allow pot heads in the kitchen. I don't want my minor children around it and they don't want to be. There was literally a pot haze in the kitchen.
