The place is dirty and disheveled. Display cases have dead looking pizza and look broken. Dirty dishes piled in bus pans out in the dining area when it’s not busy. The entrees all taste like the worst version of something off a Sysco food truck and the pizza is meh at best. I am a NY Italian so perhaps my expectations are set too high, but at a bare minimum cleanliness and pride in the restaurant is crucial. It tells me everything I need to know about the food.

They're still setting up, so it's a bit of a mess. I understand that. The service was a bit slow, took about 40 minutes to get an order from when I paid to when I left with it. I think thats just from too much clutter on the shelves. As far as the food, they use good ingredients, and it was pretty good, but I feel the prices are too high for the quantity you get. Nice people, and I bet once they get the restaurant fully established they'll smooth out the process. Ill try it again in a few months or so to see.

Okay guys… this place is a total sleeper. They were running a free appetizer promotion, so my wife and I decided to give them a shot. We ordered the Meatball Parmigiano pizza, the flight of four pastas, and claimed the free appetizer. I’ll be honest—when we arrived, first impressions weren’t amazing. It almost looked like there might be a kid living there while the parents worked. There were Marvel toys, a Nerf gun, and a pile of miscellaneous stuff in the front waiting area. I get the rustic family-owned vibe they were going for, but all the toys and clutter were a little distracting and didn’t really fit the atmosphere of an Italian restaurant. After a short wait, we took our food home, feeling a little unsure about what we were about to eat. We couldn’t have been more wrong. The pasta flight was hit after hit after hit. * Spaghetti: 9/10 * Spaghetti Bolognese: 10/10 * Rigatoni: 10/10 * Alfredo: 10/10 Seriously… BAM. Flavor. Flavor. Flavor. Every single pasta was excellent. Now the pizza… 9.5/10. And I’m saying that as someone who used to be a pizza cook at Mama Mia’s Pizzeria. The only reason it wasn’t a perfect 10 was that the dough could be just a touch more refined. The bake was excellent—a little char on the bottom, a solid outer crust, and no giant bubbles pushing all the toppings to one side. Perfect cook. The ricotta was absolutely phenomenal, and the meatballs were hearty without being those oversized chunks that throw off every bite. It was damn close to perfect. Overall, this place serves food that’s absolutely worth overlooking the toys in the waiting area. If you’re judging it by appearances, don’t. Go try it. I’ll gladly keep donating my pizza and pasta money here… maybe they can buy that kid a few more toys.
