Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I called and asked them to refund the difference to my card, they refused ,they said i had to drive back to the store, using my time, effort, and wear and tear on my vehicle, with gas prices high as a kite. (UNBELIEVABLE)

Is it kid friendly, yes, it has solid curb appeal and simple kid meal options (like smaller burgers, chicken strips, and grilled cheese), but it does not really have the same “play-focused” setup like Happy Meals or playgrounds. It’s more of a straightforward dining experience for families rather than a kid-entertainment-focused space. That said, the main drawback becoming is the pricing has crept up compared to competitors. In my area, it also directly competes with In-N-Out. Based on my experience, In-N-Out edges it out with better value, lower prices, and more consistent service, which makes it my go-to more often. Whataburger still has a strong identity and loyal customer base for good reason, and the foundation is solid. With some attention to pricing and consistency, it could stay more competitive long-term.

I then place my order pay for my food. Well then they tell me they cant accept my 100 bill because i didn’t order enough food!?! Huh!?! When did this become a rule?!?! The manager was useless and really is letting the store run in any direction. Sad but I’ll never be supporting any what a burger in Nashville.
