  Location is good for me because I can stop by after work, which is about a half a mile down the road, before picking my daughter up. Don’t really have an issue with the store itself other than produce could use some work! However, there is one associate, in particular, that I try to avoid because my very first interaction with her she was not very personable. The only reason why I went through her line today was because she didn’t have any customers, and I was in a hurry. LAKEN should not be in the customer service field!!! I was there, today(8-27-27), around 1:30ish. She did not greet me AT ALL! The only three words she spoke to me was when she handed me my receipt and said, “Here ya go!” I suggest giving retraining courses to show these rude associates how to interact with customers!! I work in customer service, and I know to greet the customer abd/or guest before they even reach me!

  These are my people here. Like family. AND, not gonna lie, I love my BOGO and "Twofer" deals. Great little store and clean, well kept. Easy to navigate and find stuff, shop and see people. Good atmosphere - "lived-in" feel, but not outlived. I recommend a "neighborly" visit for anyone, even if it's a couple extra miles out.   This Food Lion has an amazing selection of items, is well-priced, and always has items in stock. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they always have enough cashiers so lines are not long. This establishment has everything my business up the street needs, and is top-tier!

  Be careful shopping here. 3 times I bought spoiled food from this location. Might have to find a new store to shop at.
