  I thought watermelon was consistent red, not faded and white...Who put this on the shelf for customers?! I've already contacted delivery service I used and the driver said that was the best looking one... That's disgusting if that's the best one

  Food Lion 12-pack diet cola cans explode: I've always enjoyed shopping at this food Lion on Jefferson Davis highway in Graniteville. The following safety alert does not reflect the personnel who work there as they have always gone above and beyond and it's a joy to shop there. The one star is specifically because of the safety issue. Consumers: I purchased a 12-pack of Food Lion diet cola cans several days ago and placed them in my garage where I have kept sodas and other carbonated drinks for years. Yesterday morning I entered my garage and found all 12 cans had exploded and some had blown through the cardboard container. Many of the tops were still attached but open like miniature TNT sticks had detonated. Yes, it is very warm here in South Carolina in the summer. However, I checked the temperature within the garage yesterday afternoon and it was 81.1 degrees Fahrenheit. I did contact Food Lion customer service (have not heard back) and received a case number as well as taking all of the cans back and talked to the manager. So please, just be aware this is a potential hazard.

  I go shopping, see all the sales and deals! Get to the register and only some items are correctly priced. Complaining about it only takes time for them to check the prices and wastes my time. Every single visit this happens. I’ve been here three times. Will not shop at any Food Lion again.

  This is my go-to grocery store when I need to grab something quickly since it's close to home. The store is clean, organized, and easy to shop. The employees have always been friendly during my visits, and the prices are about what I expect from Food Lion. My only complaint is that, like many other Food Lion locations I've visited, certain items seem to be out of stock fairly often. Overall, it's a convenient and reliable neighborhood grocery store.
