- TSTim Stroup2 days ago1.0Stopped at this Bojangles on the way home from a trip. We waited about 30 minutes after ordering, and had about 4 people in line behind us receive their food. All this time, the restaurant was taking orders in the drive thru no problem. A gentleman who had been waiting to order for about 10 minutes raised concern with the length of his wait and was immediately met with an argumentative tone from the employee behind the counter who said “well we have to get them (the drive thru) through, it’s continuous”, which at least seems true as it’s no longer employees taking orders but their AI system. Clearly the customers in the store are not a priority, which was also evidenced by the lack of cleanliness in the dining room. After another family behind us in line received their food ahead of us. I tried to calmly ask the employee behind the counter from earlier about my food and she said “well we have to go by the order of the ticket and what food we can make” when I pointed out all we ordered was supremes and fries she said “well we have to drop supremes as they’re ordered” and walked away. I didn’t see my ticket and losing patience after being there about 45 minutes with no concern on the whereabouts of my order, I left without receiving my food to go elsewhere. I understand things are busy on a holiday weekend and staff can get overwhelmed but the immediate verbal combativeness and dismissiveness from the employee was unacceptable.

Trash was overflowing, took 40 minutes to get three orders (two which apparently tasted bad), and the workers didn’t even try with customer service. I’ve been in the middle of a work rush and I still always would at least say “hi” to someone standing in my face.

The drive thru cashier misheard my order, resulting in an INCORRECT order and me having to pay for additional food I originally ordered in the first place, on top of the manager arguing and yelling at me through the speaker. 🤣 Luckily I don’t live nearby and will never come back to THIS poor excuse of an establishment with such horrible customer service.

We waited about 5 minutes inside as we watched people getting their horse through the drive-thru. Although we were acknowledged that we would be able to order soon, we decided to go through the drive-thru ourselves as that seemed to be the quicker alternative to getting an order place. After quickly placing our order, we get to the window only to be promptly told that they were out of many of the items that we tried to order. What a waste of time. Not sure exactly why Bojangles is out of many of the items. Management needs to address supply chain issues as well as staffing to make sure enough staff is availble to adequately handle the demands of both drive-thru and dine in orders. So disappointing. Went to Cookout up the road. Ordered my meal without trouble as I write review. Cookout has it together. Take notes.

The AI order taker was not taking our order correctly so we had driven up to the window for corrections and the staff was incredibly rude. I have worked in food service before and the way we were spoken to this morning is not how a customer should be treated. We ended up not even ordering. Horrible customer service.
