This was, without question, one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had at a Taco Bell.
I placed my order, and before leaving I politely asked if they could please make sure there were napkins and sauce packets in my bag. It was a simple, friendly request that should have taken only a few seconds to fulfill. Unfortunately, when I got my order, there were no napkins and no sauce at all.
What made the experience even worse wasn’t the missing items—it was how I was treated. As I was walking away, a staff member made the incredibly unprofessional remark, “Don’t ever come back.” I was shocked. I had not been rude, disrespectful, or confrontational in any way. I simply asked for napkins and sauce with my order.
No paying customer should ever be spoken to like that. Basic courtesy, respect, and professionalism should be expected from any restaurant, regardless of how busy it is. Instead, I left feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and completely unwelcome.
Customer service is just as important as the food. Everyone makes mistakes, and forgetting napkins or sauce isn’t the end of the world. What matters is how employees respond when a customer politely points something out. Instead of apologizing or correcting the mistake, I was met with hostility and told not to return. That is completely unacceptable.
Management seriously needs to address the attitude and professionalism of the staff at this location. Employees represent the business, and interactions like this damage Taco Bell’s reputation. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, not insulted for asking for basic items that should have been included with the order.
I hope the owner or district manager takes this review seriously and provides additional customer service training. Until then, I cannot recommend this location to anyone. There are plenty of other restaurants that appreciate their customers and know how to treat people with basic decency.
