- IGIvan GonickSep 30, 20261.0I ordered Bojangles tonight. Apparently I accidentally selected the “cremate my dinner” option. My food was handed to me in a bag that was LITERALLY BURNED. Not “the chicken was a little overcooked.” Not “my biscuit was crispy.” THE ACTUAL PAPER BAG WAS CHARRED. At some point, somebody looked at this bag — which appears to have just returned from a deployment to the surface of the sun — put my food in it, and said, “Yep. Send it.” The best part? The driver said the employees were joking around and not listening, and when she asked them for A REPLACEMENT BAG, they told her NO. A BAG. Bojangles, I wasn’t asking you to replace a transmission. I wasn’t requesting a full refund of the Louisiana Purchase. I needed another paper bag because the first one had apparently survived an active structure fire. There is a point where “Bo Time” becomes “call the fire department time.” We found that point tonight. I genuinely have questions. How did it catch fire? How long was it on fire? Who put it out? WHY WAS MY FOOD STILL SENT OUT IN IT? And most importantly, how many employees saw the smoldering evidence and collectively decided this was an acceptable customer experience? I ordered fried chicken. I did not order the bag fried too. 🔥🍗 0/10. Absolutely unhinged. Please keep the food in the fryer and the packaging out of it.
