  Went in there to get food and put a few sauces but the manager wants to say she's not giving me my sauces because I got food that doesn't need certain ones so I wanna know when they decided they can tell me what I can have and can't have on my food because of what they think certain sauces go with. If I like something and put it on my order then it shouldn't matter cause I like what I like and the app has that option. And she got the nerve to come over before hand to say I'm not giving you your sauces like we said something nasty, didn't ask for a side of attitude with my order.

  It is imperative that McDonald’s Sumter location on Broad and Peach Orchard address the unacceptable service provided to customers. The establishment consistently fails to meet the basic standards of customer service, resulting in numerous instances of forgotten orders and cold food. Notably, I experienced a one-hour wait for my drive-thru order, which included a children’s meal and two adult meals, yet the order was incorrect. Today, despite not checking my food before leaving the window, I discovered that an entire 10-piece chicken nugget was missing from my $28 order. While I acknowledge my responsibility for inspecting my bag before leaving, the lack of proper service should not be a burden on customers. I have also heard reports of employees being rude and disparaging customers who express dissatisfaction. Furthermore, the establishment’s practices, such as providing a medium fry in a large container and disregarding sauce requests, further undermine the quality of the service. Although I understand that my experiences may be subjective, I have lived in this town twice, the first for two years and the second for nearly three years. During my 15 years in customer service, I have witnessed a significant decline in the quality of service at this McDonald’s location. While the town holds potential, it is disheartening to observe the deterioration of customer service. It is crucial that McDonald’s Sumter address these issues promptly to restore the reputation of the establishment.

  I'm still shaken after a horrible experience . The lobby was full, and I witnessed something truly terrible. A young boy, around 15-16 years old, was unsure if a lid was on a coffee cup. The manager, around 9:30-10:00 PM, asked him, and he said he wasn't sure. Unfortunately, it accidentally spilled on her. I understand it was hot, but she yelled at him so loudly and just walked away without even helping to clean up the mess . It's heartbreaking to see such poor management. This isn't the first time I've seen her treat someone poorly either. She called a woman around her age stupid just because she's the boss? That doesn't give her the right to be so cruel . Something needs to change before it gets worse. I just read another review about a female manager (not sure if it's the same person) yelling at a boy, and it's just so sad .
