  I stopped here for lunch yesterday, and this was honestly the worst Chipotle experience I’ve ever had. The customer service and the food were both disappointing. There were hardly any food options left, the vinaigrette tasted off, and the queso wasn’t fully melted, it was very grainy. I felt rushed while my order was being prepared. The two employees serving the food seemed to have an unfriendly attitude, which made the experience even worse. The cashier was the only person who was welcoming and pleasant. Overall, the quality of the food and the service did not meet expectations. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I won’t be returning to this location.

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience with Chipotle catering was disappointing from start to finish, especially for an order totaling nearly $300. My catering order was scheduled for pickup at 4:30 PM. I arrived around 4:35 PM, only to discover the staff had no idea a catering order had been placed. They had to start preparing the entire order after I arrived, and I didn’t leave the restaurant until approximately 5:08 PM. Because of this, I arrived over 30 minutes late to my own party, despite placing the order well in advance so everything would be ready on time. To make matters worse, the front doors had an extremely strong pressure seal, making them very difficult to open while carrying two heavy catering boxes. No employee offered to help me with the doors or assist in carrying the order. When I arrived at the party, I discovered the order was also incomplete. We were missing two containers of beans and an order of sofritas. I repeatedly tried calling the store, but no one answered. I then contacted Chipotle Catering customer service, and they were also unable to reach the restaurant. Fortunately, one of my guests was willing to drive to the store to pick up the missing items. Instead of quickly correcting the mistake, the staff reportedly gave her a difficult time for about 30 minutes before finally providing the missing beans and sofritas. Mistakes happen, but what matters is how they’re handled. This experience involved a catering order that wasn’t started until I arrived, made me late to my own event, was missing multiple items, couldn’t be resolved by phone because the store wouldn’t answer, and then required one of my guests to spend additional time convincing the staff to correct their mistake. For an order approaching $300, I expected much better organization, communication, and customer service. Unfortunately, this experience has completely turned me away from using Chipotle Catering again.

  Love Chipotle but the Sumter location is always a disappointment. They are always out of food and apparently they no longer have the Berry Aqua Fresca drink. The workers always have an attitude when you ask for anything. Customer service is terrible with workers always standing around instead of helping customers or making food. For the price, I would prefer not to eat dry rubbery steak or chicken.

  I put an order in 20 minutes before closing through the app and when I arrived they said they don't take order 30 minutes before closing. They marked my order as picked up and said to contact corporate for a refund.
