  The food was great and the service was even better! Joey was our server and he continued to check on us throughout our dining experience and even helped my picky wife narrow down her food order with recommendations of the menu! He was super friendly and knowledgeable, exactly what you’d want in a server!

  My husband and I wanted to try a new brunch spot, and unfortunately this isn’t somewhere we’d return to. The staff was kind and we were seated right away, which we appreciated. My husband enjoyed his shrimp po’ boy, and I tried the crab cake Benedict to try something new. It just wasn’t for me, and even my husband, who normally enjoys crab cakes, felt the flavor was lacking. What really concerned us was the cleanliness. I considered getting coffee, but when I flipped over the cup left at the table, there was food stuck inside. I checked other cups at our table and 3 out of 4 were dirty as well. We also noticed a heavy buildup of dust on the walls near where we were seated. Between the dirty cups and the dust, it made the overall dining experience feel unhygienic. Not the best photo, but I hope management takes this as constructive feedback because attention to cleanliness would make a big difference.

  Reagan has been my server twice since the beginning of May, and I have to say, she is the best server I've had at Toast! I eat there because I love the food options and it's close to my work but now i have a permanent server I know I can count on! 5 stars to Reagan as well!

  I had Mother’s Day brunch there today. Someone mopped up a spill near us with a rancid mop or mop water that smelled like vomit….. They also forgot to bring my daughters shrimp Sam’s grits , so I split my meal with her because the staff was so busy and they couldn’t get back to check on us quickly so I didn’t want my daughter to sit there and just watch everybody else eat. The server did feel terrible when she finally came back and we told her. She was very apologetic. I understand mistakes happen and it’s not the end of the world but honestly the thing that actually made me angry was when she went on and on- like she did us a favor for “ taking the shrimp sands grits off the bill? The food was otherwise good and the server was otherwise friendly, so I’m still giving 2🌟 to be fair. I would give 2.5 if that was an option. The rancid mop smell made me lose my appetite so that’s definitely a factor as well.

  I’ve been eating at Toast for years and I have never gotten the peach French toast…but it’s probably the only thing I’ll ever get now! Not overly sweet (I sprinkled some leftover powdered sugar from the beignets on it 😏) oh yeah and the beignets…I could eat a plate of those myself….drool… Sharmaine was our super sweet and very efficient server on this rainy Saturday at 7am. A server will make or break the dining experience and Sharmaine, with her big genuine smile, made it! You come for fabulous food, but it’s the people like her that make you return! Thanks all!
