We ordered takeout and when the food came we didn't get what we ordered. They ran out of corned beef hash and replaced with a touph piece of tire. I ordered biscuits and gravy. Showes up, no gravy. Food was really cold . I called the restaurant to inquire about my missing gravy and all I got from the manager was" OH my gosh you did have two..." I ordered delivery because I did not want to leave my house. Terrible mistake. Will not be patronizing this establishment again.

We’re visiting from out of town and decided to give TOAST a try for the first time. Unfortunately, it was not a great first impression. When we ordered, they were already out of white toast and out of silverware. Then, after bringing MY food to the table, they informed my spouse that they were out of what he had ordered and asked if he wanted something else. 🤦‍♀️ My question is… wouldn’t you normally know that BEFORE bringing one person’s food out? Now my food is sitting there getting cold while I wait so we can actually eat together. I’m not sure how that makes for a good dining experience. Things being unavailable can happen, but the lack of communication and timing really made this frustrating. We’re from out of town, so unfortunately, this was our first and probably last visit. Definitely not impressed.

If I could leave zero stars I would, there was nothing to review, just 20 minutes of wasted time (which is actually insane if you think about it- that's a really long time). We arrive as a party of 2 at 10:45 and are sat immediately. Two tables were sat right after us, both had service right away while we sat and watched waiting for our server (spoiler... one never came) after 10 whole minutes I went back to the host stand and said that there must have been some confusion because the tables after us had been served drinks and we hadn't even seen a soul yet. When I got up to go to the desk, the table next to us told my husband they had been patiently waiting over 40 minutes for their check.... ultimately they went to attempt to pay at the front when no one bothered coming to help them. No urgency to the kid whatsoever, I don't even think he told anyone. I gave them 10 more minutes before leaving at 11:05 and said "thanks" to the hosts as I passed by, not a peep from them. It's a Saturday morning, they had the tables to seat us right away, what's the excuse? Took our business down the street.

The furnishings are tired and worn, the gals are super slow at service as they are “busy” w/3 guest at tables when we arrived. Definition of beignets is less to be desired, more like lumps of fried dough rolled in powdered sugar. Bisket’s were a $2.00 up charge, dry and crumbly, toast was burnt and served with burnt side down. Our omelets were not exactly as described but, tasty after we got our own silverware and pepper for seasoning. The gals just don’t “click” with their routine, maybe it was a late night as we were there at 10 am on a Tuesday.

Very average food. We love brunch - and this seemed like a good choice. How wrong we were - starting with the mimosa's that our server said had fresh juice, came to discover that their Peach Bellini Mimosa used chemical tasting peach schnapps, yuck! Fried green tomatoes, were soggy and lacked taste. Shrimp n grits, were terribly under-seasoned, shrimp was hard, and grits were like glue! Omelette was marginally better, but breakfast potatoes were overcooked and tasted as though they were reheated. The chicken BLT was overcooked and the bread soggy. The kitchen wasn't busy, maybe 6-7 tables total. So there was no excuse and all servers seemed to be more concerned with catching up with what went on Friday night than actually serving anyone. Overall we left hungry, spent $140 for 3 people and with a definitive we won't be back! The kicker was, despite each plate going back to the kitchen with less than ¼ eaten and drinks left on the table - not one person asked why??
