  They’re never open on time. Every single day! Today it’s after 7:00 a.m. and all the employees are standing in front of the store waiting on the manager (key holder) to arrive. On other days, the employees are inside in the store, Looks like it’s active, but they don’t care to open the door till like 7:05. I guess that’s because they have other things to do… Seems like everyday they’re back on their heels, not ready for business. This big corporation of Food Lion should take lessons from a little tire store like Gerald‘s about how to treat a customer in the morning when they show up to your business. Obviously, there’s a lack of leadership and management here and no accountability. They do not ever seem to be ready for the day.

  My family uses curbside pick up weekly and it is truly a lifesaver. The shoppers always do a fantastic job of making sure everything on my list is accurate and produce is always fresh. Over the years, Jo F has brought our groceries to the car the majority of the time and she is such a breath of fresh air. She is always so happy to us, even if we have her come out in the rain (we try to avoid this). Occasionally we will see her inside at the register and she always has a smile on her face that is undoubtedly contagious. One of the many reasons we make this food lion our go to grocery store.

  Is soliciting allowed at this location? Why are there young men standing outside of the entrance hounding potential Food Lion customers to purchase candy from them?

  I wanted to come on here and say that the worker Roman at the register is one of the nicest people I’ve met in a long time me and my husband and baby were checking out and we covered everything except 5$ and he took 5$ of his own money to help us out with the rest and he insisted us not pay him back he deserves a raise great guy !!
