My pregnant wife was craving Cava because it’s one of her favorite places. So I went out in the pouring rain to get it for her. I was told my order would be ready by 7:37pm. It wasn’t ready until 7:46. Okay, no big deal. I get my food at the pick up window and drive home to get the food to my wife. When we took the food out of the bag we were absolutely DISGUSTED by what the Cava in Cane Bay gave us. My wife’s bowl was barely half full, the avocado we paid 2.55 extra for was brown and old, and the feta spread looked spoiled. She couldn’t even eat it and threw it out. What a waste of 32 dollars. I do not recommend this Cava. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere rather than this overpriced garbage. No pride in the quality of their ingredients.

I showed up at the pick time but was told to circle around the building only to end up waiting but the pick up window which was closed. Then a Gen-z showed up without uttering a single word, no greetings no nothing, he disappeared after I spoke a few words, a much nicer staff member came back with the meal. The pita bread was cold and the chips completely covered in salt. For such a lovely community, based on how some of the staff acted, this location doesn't seem to care much about interacting or serving the area.

Me and my Boyfriend love Cava, way before they made it to SC, so we were ecstatic to see that It came to Cane Bay/Summerville! We haven’t had a bad experience here yet and have been enjoying how convenient the location is from our house. Jada and Sierra absolutely did me right with my bowl!! There was so much food that I had leftovers! They’re definitely on the learning curve but seem to be improving every day, if you’ve had a bad experience, I would recommend trying them again! ❤️🙏 As always, every new location will have a few things they are improving on. It’s good to know that they are willing to make things better. Don’t let one bad experience ruin a delicious option of food that packs a healthy punch!

I really thought I didn't like CAVA. I've visited a location in a different town and wasn't impressed. However when this location opened close to me I decided to give it another try. And Im so glad I did! The food was delicious and plentiful, the staff was so friendly and welcoming and my experience was fast. The young lady asked me if I wanted pickled cucumbers and I mentioned that I've never had them before. She put two in a little cup for me to try! How thoughtful! And I liked it! Since my initial visit I've been 4 additional times and I haven't been let down. Im so excited to have this as my new spot!

I was in there today and they literally had one young woman in the front up doing most of the work. There was another girl (who was heavy set) but she pretended like she had everything else to do but tend to customers. I guess she felt like the line wasn’t that long enough for her to stop going back-and-forth in the back doing the bare minimum. I don’t even think this woman was restocking anything. Even if she was, I can understand restocking and doing other things, but if people are waiting that can wait. The little girl working the register was also restocking lettuce so that big girl was not working that hard. Simple common courtesy and customer service matters. I’m sure the little girl working the register did not want to create an issue, but it was an issue for me because what turned into what could’ve been a five minute visit (at the time) took a little longer because she kept walking back-and-forth to the back. Again, pretending like she has so much to do. I literally watched this girl start fixing somebody’s plate, take her time to do it and after she scooped up one thing of rice allowed the other girl to do everything else by herself. If you don’t want your job, then don’t work or learn what to do and when to do it. She eventually did stop pretending like she was doing so much when the line got a little longer. By this point, I was walking out. There’s definitely some coaching needed here for professionalism and Customer Service. If you’re not coachable, got an attitude, or only know ratchet behavior (because that’s the impression I got them) please stay in that area or space were certain things are cute and okay. Yes I said this and I’m not changing it.
