Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Went there for lunch can I say how much I appreciate the greeting. Great customer service I don't know the cashier's name but I always see her there working she is such a sweet person she may be of a Hispanic descent so I just like to say awesome job. The food was fresh and fast. And my stomach didn't hurt or I didn't feel drained after eating. I hope what-a-burger stay like that. I usually will complain about fast food cost but I think Whataburger is worth it.

The employees are nice and seem to enjoy their job. Food is good. Onion Rings are my favorite

I'm from Texas and this is by far the cleanest and fastest Whataburger I have ever been to! I'm used to waiting over 20 minutes to get my food because it's always busy in Texas. It's worth the wait because it's that good! But not here they are super fast and they always bring your food with a smile! Keep up the great work you guys!

Don't order curbside pick up. This is the third time I've ordered ahead, arrived on time, and received my order more than 15 minutes after the end of the provided pick up time.

In comparison to the other Spartanburg location, this one is not as good as the Westgate location. The Hillcrest location is closer to my house and on the way home from work but I haven’t had the best food each time I’ve gone to the Hillcrest location. The burgers were loaded down with too many onions and a dot of mustard. The fries were hot but barely salted and I had to pull up and wait. The burgers didn’t have the freshly made taste that I get at the Westgate location. The tea was soured tasting and not fit to drink. The service from the cashier and the girl who brought out my food was good. They were clean and polite. I ordered two Whataburger combos with large fries and large drinks no tomato. One coke. One tea. The hot, fresh taste I get at the other location was just not there for me. Two of the same restaurants but food was not comparable in taste to the Westgate location in my honest opinion. For these reasons, I will choose the other location over the Hillcrest location. The outside atmosphere looked clean and well kept. I had a coupon for a free burger with the purchase of a drink and fry. The total was about $16 and some change. I declined the receipt after the cashier asked if I wanted it.
