  This morning I went thru the drive thru of this establishment. I clearly asked if they had the current promo Saja boy breakfast meal. The guy said yes maam. I said I would like one meal with no egg on the mcmuffin. He said ok, took the rest of my order. I get to the window to pay, I didnt want my receipt because usually they are good with getting the order right. I get to the second window, the food is in a bag, not in a saja box, also missing the cards. The whole point of spending $10 on the special meal. The lady ask me for the receipt, I told her I didnt get one but I paid for the meal I asked for the saja meal. I asked them to just give me the cards thats all that was missing. The "manager" claims I didnt pay for that meal, she hadn't made that meal all morning. I told her I just asked for and paid for that meal to just give me the cards. She refused. I told her id go ahead and come inside to resolve this so her drive thru could continue to operate. When I got inside she continued to insist I didnt pay for that meal, I showed her the mcmuffin wrapped in the saja boy wrapper. I asked for the cards one more time she refused. At this point im furious at the complete incompetence of the staff. I asked for a refund. She produced the receipt to give me a refund. Yet couldn't just get the receipt or comprehend that I had the drink mcmuffin and hash brown that come with the meal all I was missing was the cards for the kid for crying out loud. To top it off this was the 2nd McDonald's I had tried to get the Saja meal at. The first one didnt know what I was talking about. She called for a manager and told her to "handle me", I asked the manager if that was the current promo, to which she returned "yes" I then asked for a refund on what I was charged bc it was incorrect and after the rude interaction I didnt want to spend my money there. I came to the hilcrest one hoping for a better experience and was left with the decision to never spend my money again at any McDonald's. If the employees cant even keep up with their promos or know how to handle a mistake on their end ill spend my money somewhere else. It was literally just for the kids.

  Came here around 9am and waited for a few minutes ! The old white lady you have with the glasses and the black manager with green and red dreads are not good for customer service. They looked at me an did not come over to ask what I needed! I was just picking up a DoorDash order for the customer ! I left ! You need to tell the manager with red an green dreads to stop speaking about her financial issues and kids being out for spring break and come over and help customers.

  I tried calling this place a few times they keep on hanging up. I need a refund on this McFlurry I never got on. 04-03-2026 at 3:52pm
