- MLM LJul 12, 20265.0We had the best time getting out of the office today. The only drawback is you smell like you ate fried fish the rest of the day 😳 …it is worth it! The lovely gentleman (I believe the owner) running the show did say they could broil the seafood if desired, but we all stuck with friend food - life is about balance! The food was perfectly cooked, not greasy at all, and everyone was happy with their food. They are more self serve than table waited - you order at the cash register and get your sauces, drinks, silverware at the bar. They do bring your food to your table. They have quite a few options for saucing your well seasoned and cooked foods & as a mayonnaise avoider, I felt like the slaw was well done and I was able to eat several bites without feeling like it was too mayo heavy! Aside from needing better ventilation, the dining area is nice. The chairs are comfy and had good covers on them, making it feel more upscale than fish camp. The kitchen is open, so you can see the magic at work. Highly recommend supporting this restaurant, if you like seafood/fried chicken tenders you won’t be disappointed! And while the price point is a little on the high end for lunch - you can definitely get two meals out of most of the portions, if you so choose, and there are several lunch specials.
