Yams were good as well my kids loved the greens . The shrimp were okay but the breading was falling off . All in all very good and totally worth the price ! I’ve never had them o seen them on Facebook and just went for it !

The prices are great, the music is a great vibe and the food is top notch. The owner was even so kind to accommodate our sons diet preference and grilled his fish since we dont give him fried foods. It tasted so good i almost wanted to order the same thing. Thank yall so much for the glowing experience!!
- RSRose SmithJun 12, 20265.0We have been meaning to try McClellans since we noticed the restaurant on a routine drive to Spartanburg. We are senior country folks and don’t like to drive the 16 miles more than we have to. When I say 16 miles that’s to Woodruff, Union or Spartanburg. 😄 Anyway, I love fried oysters and have had trouble finding good ones at a reasonable price for a long time. I found that McClellans had a great app with pictures of their dishes and very reasonable prices for oysters. When we got ready to have seafood we decided that I would try their oysters and my husband would try the flounder. Ordering was super easy via the app with options to add requests, in my case, extra tartar sauce and then options to add sides to accompany your dinner choice, and even select a pick up time. My husband drove in to pick up the order. Our order was still warm and fresh when we sat down to eat. The oysters were the best I’ve had in a VERY long time. I lost count of how many there were. The breading was light and seasoning perfect. The inside was the perfect texture which is important. My husband’s flounder was delicious. (I tasted it too). We both loved the delicious home cut fries, again, perfectly seasoned. We ordered a side of hush puppies which were very good. My husband said they reminded him of old time fishfries with his family where the hush puppies and fish were cooked in a big cast iron pot outside. I even got my extra tartar sauce. Our experience was great. The food was excellent and we will be eating with them again, they are worth the drive!
