Our experience at Outback was amazing! Our server Chyna was wonderful! She was an amazing server and made us laugh! She should definitely be a comedian!

My daughter and I went for lunch yesterday. Our waitress (Carson) was great, absolutely no complaints with her at all! Our food on the other hand was terrible. My steak was more than well done (ordered medium) and very hard to cut and the slice springs chicken (picture below) was burnt beyond being edible. Everything was over seasoned and I had to scrape the seasoning off the top of the steak. The potato was great and I ordered a meal to go and the salmon that come with that meal was great. I mentioned the chicken being burnt when it was placed on the table and the lady (NOT CARAON) very snippy asked if I needed her to take it back to the kitchen. I had already watched her talk over our food with the serving tray directly beside her head while she was in the kitchen and was grossed out enough by that alone to know I didn’t want to risk anything else.
This is not my first experience lately with bad food. I ordered a steak via DoorDash a few weeks back and it arrived very well done and over seasoned. The salad on that order already had dressing mixed in it in spots. The manager made it right but I did have to make a trip to the restaurant and wait about 20 min to correct it (defeated the purpose of ordering DoorDash to begin with).

The good: The steak and shrimp were both seasoned and cooked perfectly.
The bad: The potato soup was weird and disgusting (like water with corn starch, sugar, and bacon bits), and the "all meat" chili was by far the worst chili I have ever eaten in my long life.
It was expensive for a mediocre chain, plus they even push those electric kiosk things on you (who's going to pay another $3 for what's free on your phone?), and service was slow. Five people were goofing off at the host stand while only two servers appeared to be doing all the serving plus bartending, and ours wasn't even great at it.
If you want to pay high prices, go to Soby's or Saskatoon.

We had a great experience at Outback Steakhouse! The food was excellent, everything came out fresh and cooked just right, and the service was friendly and attentive. Our server made sure we had everything we needed without making us feel rushed.
The steaks were flavorful and perfectly cooked, the sides were great, and of course the Bloomin’ Onion never disappoints. The restaurant was clean and had a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere.
Great food, great service, and a really enjoyable meal. We’ll definitely be back!

Wife & I eat here at Simpsonville quite often and usually get the 12 oz. NY Strip. Usually tastes very good and is tender. Tonight not the case. The taste was good but the meat was tough. I should have sent it back but my mistake. So hard to chew up one piece that I swallowed and got severely choked. Very close to my wife screaming for someone to do the heimlick
(?). After spitting up water from my throat into my plate of food, and coughing severely many times, somehow it finally went down. All the people around us were really to panic. Took about 10 minutes to recover. Very Scary. All because the steak was so tough I didn’t chew one piece good enough.
OUTBACK, next damn time it will be rejected and sent back,
