  I cannot believe how I was treated at this store. I am at the register. The light was on. I start emptying my cart and the next I know, the cashier walked away after apparently turning off her light. Never even acknowledged me. Once the shock wore off, I put everything back in my cart and went to another register. I was so upset. I told the new cashier what had happened and tells me that first cashier was a MANAGER. Now I'm furious. I have never posted a bad review, but I couldn't let this go. I just moved here and this was my first time at a Food Lion. It is also the LAST. I have NEVER been treated this way.

  I have came here for years. In the past few months, employees have become rude and unhelpful. I will not do business with this location ever again. If you're in customer service, learn what customer service is. Standing around talking about your weekend plans while people are waiting for you to do your jobs, is NOT customer service either.

  YOU DID THIS TO AN OLD LADY?! We had heavy rain last night and whoever brought in the motorized cart, never bothered to clean the water off the seat so I watched a frail elderly woman come in today and sit in about 3 inches of water get completely soaked in her pants when all she wanted to do was go shopping . Laziness level off the charts . I’ve complained about this store to corporate before only to have it fixed for a couple months .besides the disgusting produce and rotten smell from the fish department, Whoever you have as that cart return person should be reprimanded for the experience that that old lady had to have at your store. Oh, and last, maybe you wanna get rid of all the pigeons that are nesting in your Food Lion sign that leave droppings all over where you walk in the door and I should explain how you use a shopping cart and a dust broom and sweep up all the bird poop and put it into garbage bags in a shopping cart that I’ve seen get put back into the cart corral covered in black greasy dirt . This place is disgusting a single trip to the Simpsonville Food Lion that was just built is like another dimension of a store. it’s terrible that I can’t even shop at the Food Lion That’s a mile from my house because the management is so poor.
