Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Okay so, this location was amazing!! My first time at a Whataburger. Brandy served us. She is amazing, truly made my WEEK. She was kind and offered great customer service. The food was really good. Everything tasted fresh and yummy. Also, the whole place was clean including the bathroom. #notsponsored #originalwhataburger #texasnative #strawberrymilkshake

This is the BEST Whataburger I’ve ever been to. The staff is AWESOME. Brandy, the operations partner is SUPER FRIENDLY and AMAZING. I’ve gone to Whataburger my whole life, as a Texan, and this Whataburger is my absolutely favorite. Go to the Whataburger in Pendleton, South Carolina!

Everything was fine except the burger. This was my first and last time at a whataburger. The fries were good but the burger was cold and just bad. The bread was bad and even if it was hot it would have still been bad. It was like burger king but somehow worse. Not sure what the hype is about.

Honestly what is the genuine reason in having a 24hr sign if you’re NEVER 24hrs?? I work third shift and was so happy that we were getting a 24hr chain so we have some options for lunch since we eat around 2am. They’re never open!! It’s pointless and a waste of a lot at this point. Would’ve rather had a 24hr McDonald’s put there because at least I know someone’s open!! I don’t know if it’s due to poor management or what, but if I was the owner I would be doing double time to figure out why my 24/7 business isn’t still running 24/7.

The burgers and fries were amazing however the wait time in the lobby was dreadful as it appeared someone refused to work, leaving their team members hanging. Although the person quit, the team did very well in not allowing the negative work performance/ethics of that person have impact on them.
