  Super nice grocery store in Pawleys Island! The young lady, Alana Buckwalter, was exceptional…a huge smile on her face, genuinely friendly and extremely helpful! You have a gem!! We are from Virginia and when we return to Pawleys will shop at Food Lion because of her friendliness!!

  This was a great Food Lion! I went on the Fourth of July weekend, and even though the store was packed to what seemed like full capacity, the staff did a great job, and I was still able to get in and out very quickly. They also had a nice selection of beach equipment outside of the store, and an extensive selection of national and local brands of beer inside of it. I also loved their Bakery & Deli section, which looked like a great place to grab some fresh food at an affordable price and with relative ease. My only word of advice would be to be very careful in the parking lot, especially if you’re there over the course of a holiday, as it’s packed pretty tight and there are people (including kids) walking everywhere. Other than that, this was a great Food Lion!
