  Service with Brie our bartender-server was great, my Bourbon Manhattan was delicious and the food was good.

  The restaurant is nice it was Sunday night so it was only the 5 of us …. Waitress came and took it drink orders … took forever to get the drinks …and the orders were wrong… forever to take our meal orders … food arrived and was just edible … I had eggplant rotini which looked like 3 little deflated rolls so disappointing …. Our waitress did not have a clue as to how to serve… she called everyone baby, honey, darling it was embarrassing … and you could not hear her! It is shame with such a nice big space that they can’t get their act together

  Great food and amazing service! We ate here for the first time tonight and enjoyed our food immensely. Between our table we had the calamari, chicken carbonara, pasta pomodoro w/ chicken, penne sausage and pepper and chicken carbonara. Everything was excellent. Above the food however was the service. Everyone was extremely kind and friendly. My one year old threw his pacifier on the ground and they offered to rinse it with hot water without us asking. The waitress' interacted and played with him. Overall a wonderful experience. The ONLY thing that didn't meet expectation was the lack of a changing table in the women's restroom. Would highly recommend visiting Basil & Bourbon!

  The Italian sausage in the dish was excellent. I ordered a side of two meatballs, they were also excellent. I enjoyed the sauce on the pasta noodles. Which were not over cooked. We got small pieces of sourdough bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

  Basil & Bourbon is an absolute standout! From the moment we walked in, the entire experience was exceptional. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and upscale without feeling stuffy — the perfect place for a great night out. The food was outstanding. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, beautifully prepared, and clearly made with attention to detail. The cocktails were equally impressive, and the service really brought the whole experience together. Our server was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel genuinely welcome without ever rushing us. It’s great to have a restaurant in Bluffton that delivers on all fronts — excellent food, great drinks, a beautiful atmosphere, and top-notch hospitality. Basil & Bourbon has definitely earned a spot on our list of favorite local restaurants. Highly recommend giving them a try. We’ll absolutely be back!
