  I love shopping at Food Lion when on vacation! This was a well-stocked store with friendly employees.

  I was in the store on Wednesday and had a very upsetting check out with Gary. He first was very rude to me about taking my Gatorade out of the cart. He said he could scan them In the cart. Then I asked him if he got the case of water and he answered very short “yes”. Later I asked if he was having a fantastic day and he said “yes, just trying to get your groceries checked out” he asked if he come across rude and I said yes you have been extremely rude. He did say he was sorry but offered no further conversation. I guess this is the day we live in that a cashier can talk to a customer anyway they want. I shop at this food lion all the time and first bad experience that I have had in 24 years.

  Amazing employees! They go way above and beyond! Stopped an employee to ask if they had goo gone, but they didn’t. She asked why we needed it and I told her. My step dad, who has beat cancer twice, parked in the wrong parking area at our hotel parking garage and had a green tow warning sticker placed on the windshield. It wouldn’t come off easily so we were looking for goo gone to help get it off. She gave us some ideas to use in its place and when we checked out, she came out with all kinds of supplies and got it off for us. She was an angel. Her name is Winnie! We love her!
