  Beautiful place, great view of the river. Our server was abigale... great, on time and super personality. I asked about margarita, said all ingredients were fresh an made there. Bring me 1... i had 2.... 2nd best margarita i ever had. We began with crab app... fantastic! Lightly seasoned where the crab did all the work. Super good. Wife got lobster roll, it was like crab app lightly seasoned where the lobster was front an center. She ate ery bite. I had tuna poke... everything was fresh and tasted good. For me it was too saucy, all the sauce covered up the flavor of the ingredients. Price was within reason. If your in barefoot landing I think you will enjoy. Oh, the young ladies that greet an seat you are a hoot. Fun to talk to.

  We recently held a rehearsal dinner for our son and daughter-in-law in the Sunset Nook area of Big Chill Island House. It was perfect! Aliza and Jaxson made the planning very easy, with many options for food and drinks to meet everyone’s preferences. We had gorgeous sunset views, delicious food and beverages, live music, and outstanding service from Kristine. All we had to do was show up and enjoy the beautiful evening with family and friends.

  We went to Big Chill Island House over the weekend to kick off our besties bachelorette bonanza, and all we can say is… WOW! The views? Gorgeous. The drinks? Delectable. The service? Out of this world. We really enjoyed the live music and watching the sunset. An absolutely beautiful way to begin our evening! Our group had the pleasure of meeting Mason, and man oh man were we impressed! He made incredible drinks (lime crush, orange crush, pina coladas, martinis, and more), and very attentively checked to make sure we were enjoying our evening. To describe Mason in a few words: he is “spiritely”, “unbothered… but in a good way”, “the goat”, “supportive” and “king”. By the end of the evening, we felt like he had been in our Bachelorette group for years and we hope he enjoyed the souvenir stickers we gave him! Big Chill Island House and our new best friend Mason, if we are ever in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina again, we will return!

  We were fortunate enough to have Patrick as our server tonight. He went above and beyond to accommodate our family (we have two littles under three). He was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and made some great recommendations. The restaurant is absolutely stunning. Whoever designed the space left no detail unaccounted for. The best part is that the food matches the atmosphere. Highly recommend this place.

  We went last night and sat on the outside deck with our puppy and it was the absolute best time!! We debated after, saying this might have been our favorite night out together we had ever had. We ordered the Island Salmon and then the Hawaiian Pork with extra pineapple and it was delicious. The pork was definitely our favorite, but the salmon was also very wonderful! The highlight of our experience though was our Server. Her name was Sage D and she was just awesome! She was very accommodating with our order, brought our pup some water and a dab of whipped cream, and chatted with us, answering all of our questions so kindly. She was just such a joy and we will DEFINITELY be coming back and asking to be sat in her section again. We’ll definitely be recommending to our friends and family too. Also, the views were amazing too :)
