    What an absolute disappointment. This was one of the worst restaurant experiences we’ve had in Myrtle Beach. We were told the wait would be over an hour despite seeing numerous empty tables. If you know you’re going to be packed for the Fourth of July holiday and summer rush, hire enough staff to seat your guests. Every other busy restaurant in the area seems to manage it. Instead, customers are left waiting while empty tables sit unused. When we were finally seated, we were placed upstairs in a hot corner where it was uncomfortable the entire meal. As soon as we arrived upstairs, the balloon maker made eye contact with us and completely ignored us, even though there were only about four occupied tables upstairs. It felt like no one cared that we were there. Our server, Marin, never checked on our table after taking our order. Not once did he ask if our food was okay, whether we needed anything, or if we wanted refills. We had to ask for silverware after our food arrived and flag someone down whenever we needed assistance. That is simply unacceptable service. The most disappointing part came when it was time to pay. While I was selecting the tip option I felt was appropriate, Marin tilted the payment screen toward the higher tip option. It felt intentional and inappropriate given the level of service we received. When we brought our concerns to the manager, Phillip, he insisted that guest satisfaction was his top priority. Unfortunately, nothing about our experience reflected that. Rather than acknowledging the issues, he defended his employee while Marin denied what happened. I paid my bill in full because I wasn’t looking for a discount or a free meal. I simply expected good food and at least moderately good service for the money we spent. We received neither. The food was mediocre at best and certainly not worth the wait, the price, or the frustration. There are far too many great restaurants in Myrtle Beach to waste your vacation here. Poor staffing, poor management, poor service, and average food make this an easy place to skip.

    We have been to this location a few times and has always been a decent place to eat. We went on 7/2 and while waiting for a table we went to the outside bar. You couldn’t hardly stand to walk in there due to the horrible trash smell. We weren’t sure where the smell was coming from until we went to the bar. Once there we determined it was from the bar. Very disgusting. We ordered a specific drink and they were out of Rum?? Whatever?? After waiting an hr for our table, we ordered the wings for an appetizer (which was cold) my wife got the ribs and Mac and cheese (which was cold) When we paid they say they were adding 3% to an already over priced meal. This place needs new management. The entire boardwalk at the beach needs new management. It’s completely run down.

    Worst Margaritaville experience. I have been here multiple times and have had no complaints til last week. We had no problem waiting for 45 mins, the issue was our food took over an hour to get to us. The server was avoidant and let us know our ticket was up just waiting on a food runner……. 20 mins later it was delivered, my rice and chicken where dry from being under the heat lamp and my husbands ribs were luke warm on one and iceeeee cold on the rest(server touched them). Server said she would have their manager come over(never did) and they comped our food and we paid for the kids meal that was a disappointment. Our server told us that this has been happening a lot recently after the rushes. Ending up have McDonald’s that night. Won’t be back to this location.

    Jimmy Buffet would be so disappointed honestly. My party of six waited approximately one hour to be seated and then an additional two hours for our food. Unfortunately, when the meals finally arrived, the quality did not reflect the time spent waiting or the price point of the menu. Two members of our group ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, and both dishes were disappointing and ultimately not eaten. The chicken was burnt, cold, and had significantly more breading than meat. Another person in our party ordered the chicken and ribs; while the ribs were good, the chicken again was not. Additionally, the jambalaya did not arrive until nearly ten minutes before we were preparing to leave, and the mac and cheese never arrived at all—we had to tell the server to cancel it. I do appreciate that the jambalaya was comped and that half off was provided for the chicken and rib combo. However, the long wait times, inconsistent food temperatures, and overall poor quality made this a very disappointing experience for our group. I am sharing this feedback in hopes that it can help improve future guest experiences. I would appreciate any acknowledgment or resolution you feel is appropriate.

    Terrible experience. We came around 430pm and there was no wait for seating. However, we were seated on the “inside” patio area against the windows. (There were many tables available inside and we did not ask to be seated here.) It was burning up. Even our waiter apologized and said “I know..it’s so hot. I’m sorry.” It was sweltering. It’s 94 degrees outside the restaurant today, but it felt like a relief when we finally left and stepped outside. We were fanning ourselves the entire dinner, my kids were miserable and sweat was running down my husband’s face. I informed the front desk staff that it was really hot on the patio. A little bit later a guy with a temperature gun came and “tested” the air vents and then wrote something down on a paper and left. Nothing changed. No one came and talked to us. I actually got sick and we had to get our ticket quickly and get out. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. The food was mediocre. But the environment was hell. And it was $150 for 4 (2 adults, 2 kids)!!! Absolutely Insane. Don’t waste your money here.
