We were excited to eat at this location and the atmosphere was fun and lively when we sat down. For that, 5 stars for atmosphere and that is the only reason I gave it 2 stars overall. The food was awful. It was by far the worst we have eaten in quite a while. We started with a trio appetizer and not only did it come out cold, the chicken tenders were overcooked- dry and hard. Next, our meals came out and my burger was burnt and the bacon on it was undercooked. My husband had the fish platter and the fish was over breaded and also, not very hot. The onion rings were the saving grace. They were great. Our service was lackluster and we had to remind our server to bring us a beer we had ordered. Jimmy Buffett would not have been impressed. We were also not impressed and will not ever go back.

We had a great time visiting Margaritaville in Myrtle Beach! The island atmosphere and decor set a fun, lively vibe, and the service was attentive and friendly from start to finish. The drinks were definitely a highlight. My margarita was great, and my daughter’s mixed mocktail was just as delicious and refreshing. The food was a bit of a mixed bag, though. The ribs were awesome—tender and flavorful—and both the fried pickles and corn fritters made great appetizers. On the other hand, the sirloin steak was a letdown; it was tough and not very good. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for the fun vibe, excellent drinks, and casual bites like ribs and fried appetizers, but I’d recommend skipping the steak.

Came to golf and bike show, Suck Bang Blow rally, and had to hit Margaritaville Myrtle Beach while we were at Broadway at the Beach. Great place, four stars, lunch $30-40, Food 4, Service 4, Atmosphere 5, wait time no wait. We were down for the Myrtle Beach Bike Week, rode in from Murrells Inlet after morning golf at Arcadian Shores. Suck Bang Blow in Murrells Inlet is wild as always, then Margaritaville was the perfect chill spot after all that noise. Parked right at Broadway, boardwalk was wet from rain but no crowd. Inside is pure island vibe, that big margarita blender you see in my nine second video, the map ceiling, parrot everywhere. We grabbed the Cheeseburger in Paradise and fish tacos, cold Landshark and a perfect margarita. Food was hot, decent portions, service friendly even with wet leathers and boots. Atmosphere is what makes it, live music later, families and bikers mixed together, no attitude. Prices a little high but you pay for Broadway location. If you are here for golf and the Suck Bang Blow rally, make Margaritaville your lunch stop between rides. Easy bike parking, easy in and out, right off 21st Avenue. We will be back next rally for sure. Next time we will bring wives for sunset dinner upstairs, watch boardwalk lights, shop a little, then ride back to camp at Myrtle Beach State Park together slowly under warm beautiful Carolina stars.

Very disappointing experience — poor service and overpriced, underwhelming food We visited Margaritaville as a party of nine after travelling all day. The kids really wanted to go, so despite arriving around 8:45–9:00 p.m. and knowing the restaurant closed at 10:00, we decided to give it a try. When we arrived, there were four employees standing at the hostess stand, and we were told it would be approximately a 30-minute wait for a table. What was frustrating was that the restaurant was nowhere near full. More than half of the tables we could see were empty but dirty and simply needed to be cleared and cleaned. When I asked what the delay was, I was told they were waiting for a busser to clear a table for us and that it could take another 20 minutes. Meanwhile, four people remained at the hostess stand talking while the bussers who were working appeared to be working extremely hard. It was honestly difficult to understand why someone couldn't simply step in and help get a table ready. Thankfully, our server was efficient, attentive and clearly doing his best. He was moving constantly and deserves recognition. I would give him an 8/10. Unfortunately, the overall customer service experience outside of our server would be closer to a 0/10. The food didn't improve the experience. I ordered the hot honey chicken and paid extra to substitute sweet potato fries. The fries arrived cold, bland and tasted as though they had been fried earlier and left sitting. The hot honey chicken wasn't particularly hot or flavourful — mostly just sweet and bland. My husband ordered the jerk salmon over rice, and the rice was actually undercooked and hard. For the prices being charged, we expected considerably better quality. Overall, our party left disappointed. The food was overpriced for what we received, the quality was poor, and the restaurant lacked the atmosphere, service and attention to detail we expected from the Margaritaville name. Additionally we were charged twice for a meal, sadly after reaching out as asked we have yet to get a response. Customer service overall: 0/10 Our server: 8/10 — he genuinely tried and deserves credit Food/value: very disappointing Authenticity/overall experience: 1/10 For a well-known franchise, this location needs much stronger attention to cleanliness, teamwork, food quality and the overall guest experience.

Margaritaville MB was always a spot we stopped at for some Jimmy Buffet music, a cold Landshark, and coconut shrimp during our annual MB trip. This year the minute we walked in felt different. The atmosphere seemed dull, staff that greeted us lacked any enthusiasm, and the Jimmy Buffet songs that played loud and proud were lacking. We were seated in the ship area under construction and next to a plywood wall. Instead of being in a high energy full of island life restaurant we felt like it was dead and forgotten. We asked to move back inside and was seated at a new table. Our waitress showed up moments later and also seemed to lack any energy and certainly did not represent the spirit of Buffet. I quickly realized coconut shrimp were no longer an appetizer and when I asked about it the waitress said they could do it so we ordered 2 along with mozzarella sticks. Meal orders were also placed and drinks arrived with no problem. When appetizers arrived it included 2 coconut shrimp meals with fries and the mozzarella sticks. We informed the waitress they were supposed to be appetizers and she apologized and left. Shrimp were ok and mozzarella sticks were nothing special. The rest of the food was fine but didnt stand out as anything special either. Needless to say we were extremely let down at the quality of this experience. Margaritaville and Jimmy Buffet were a staple of my years as a teen and eating at this location every year was always something to look forward to and was the one thing I said I wanted to do. Unfortunately it appears this year was our last year getting drinks and food here. I seriously hope the passing of Buffet isn’t a sign for the future of this restaurant but if something doesn’t change soon i’m afraid it’s life is coming to an end.
