Just to be clear, everything was fine in here okay! One thing kind of set me off in regards to the "atmosphere". I went here a few years ago with intentions of seeing the chief parrot head himself. Came all the way down from stinkin Michigan and Jimmy Buffet wasn't even there, also if your name is gonna be Buffet (I hope like hell I'm spelling that write) you probably outa have a damn buffet in your restaurant. Phew! Other than that it was a nice fun time, even though now I'll never get to see Jimmy. C'est la vie

We've been to this Margaritaville location in Myrtle Beach several times over the years we've visited Mytle Beach. It tends to be a location we always have on our list to visit. It has been a couple of years since we've been in Myrtle Beach which this time it felt like the place was a little tired; the energy level just was not there this time. We arrived mid-afternoon so the.wait for a table was minimal. From the welcome at the check in desk to the person that escorted us to our table to our server did ot give you as a guest as being very welcoming. I'm not saying they were rude but more disinterested and simply going through the paces. Our server seemed to be new to this role, which is fine as everyone needs to learn their job but they seemed.to nervous and a little over their head which with time will get better. We placed our drink orders quickly after being seated but it took 20-25 mind to come out. Our server did come back to assure us our drinks were coming so we placed our food order. Again the food took longer to come out compared to previous visits. The place had several tables of guests but not so packed thet you could say they were slammed. When our drinks and food arrived it was correct I would say the food was hot-ish so it was good but seemed to be sitting a little longer before it was brought to the table. The taste is what you expect for this sort of restaurant; good but nothing that would make it standout in any way. Generally when we visit we get a t shirt which we did but again the experience this time fell short of what we had known in the past. Overall a good visit but IMO this location is in the need for a refresh. The staff for the most part we going through the motions which does not make it stand out in the crowd as a place that you have to return again and again.

I was really looking forward to eating here with my husband tonight but I was very disappointed. I have eaten at a few Margaritaville’s and this one was not up to par with the other ones. I ordered the coconut shrimp because it said it came with a sweet pineapple dipping sauce that turned out to be a sweet chili sauce with heat (apparently after talking to Ashley (waitress) there is a pineapple glaze in the sauce- That does NOT make it a sweet pineapple sauce. Big letdown! Then paid extra for the sweet potato fries that had no flavor whatsoever. My husband had the seafood combo platter with the sweet potato fries also which since they put the fries on the bottom and put the seafood on top his fries tasted like fish when it had a taste. He also got a Margarita which was not in a glass that was shown in the menu but a tiny plastic cup. It was an OK meal but could have had a better meal down the road for A LOT cheaper. Also it is hard to hear and they had someone on stilts who would announce birthdays or special events but it was really hard to hear her. She should have a microphone so people could understand what she was saying and participate better.

The food was poorly prepared and of low quality. It was not just one dish, but all 4. Food was cold, the chicken and biscuit was awful, little to no gravy and chicken that had to have been under a warmer for an hour. Salmon was cooked to a leather consistency. The fish in the fish amd chips would have been better if I got some from Mrs. Pauls. Full of breading and cooked until tough. We did chat with management, which apologized and comped the salmon. Not really enough to compensate for the expensive meal.

I want to rate it a 3 because as soon as we sat down in the restaurant we were not greeted nor were we a knowledge, The tables around us were waited on and served we just looked completely empty because no one came to get our drinks nor food. We waited for 30 mins and then left. We came back to the Pavillion outside where the guys who were working were phenomenal 🙌 We absolutely will be back not because of the restaurant but for the two guys who were outside working ! Please give them a raise they deserve it
