  When we walked into the restaurant. We was not allowed to be seated except the bar because of reservations. However, the whole time we was there the dining room stay empty! We had to asked for silverware from our server after we got the food. Terrible service!! Our server was eating while we was waiting on our food. That is not professional at all! Also when you buy an expensive entree, you should never have to pay for a 5.25 up charge for a salad and you should be able to choose your own sides without an upcharge! I understand that there could be an upcharge on certain things!! I truly feel like this restaurant is just for the money and not taking care of the customers!

  Our family loves Landry’s. We had a fabulous waiter, Shiner. He was engaging, informative, great with our great grandchildren and made sure everything was perfect. Shiner checked on us constantly, we never had to say where is our waiter. Food was on time and delicious. If you want to have a fun time request Shiner as your waiter. The entire staff at Landry’s was great. It certainly was nice when Louis the manager stopped by to make sure we were satisfied with the service.

  We had 7PM reservations for a party of 4, once we arrived and were sat at our table disaster began… We waited over 30 minutes and had to ask for a server to come to our table. She finally came over and asked us to be patient and she would give us all of her attention in just a few. We waited another 10 minutes and watched her take two tables refills, and to go cups full and to go boxes and we never got our drinks. She came back at around 7:40 and took our order for everything all at once… we waited and still no drinks…. The appetizers came… still no drinks… finally around 7:50 (50 mins after arrival) she came back to our table and said she lost our drink order and wanted to know what we were drinking… at this point in time I was frustrated and asked for a different server. The manager came over and did his best to take care of our table however, the service was still mediocre at best…..no refills unless we asked for them. Never got our salads we paid extra for. Our dirty dishes and plates were never cleared from the table, we weren’t asked if we wanted desserts… and trying to get a check took 15 mins and had to ask 2 different staff members for help. We finally got our check and paid and left… it was 8:55 PM.. Being a local resident, I was ashamed of the service that a restaurant of this price and this is the type of service giving to our guests that come and visit the area. Our ticket was $265! There are so many other better choices in the area… we were so disappointed as we had been looking forward to going to Landry’s for weeks.

  This was such a tender, flavorful steak. I had a bad experience with the food wait time yesterday at a different restaurant, so I timed it today and our family of 5’s food came out in 20 minutes. TWENTY MINUTES?? That’s an insanely good wait time, especially when it’s a Saturday at 6:30 PM. Ais was an amazing server and was so sweet. Came here after searching around while on vacation. Would definitely recommend for those whose family loves seafood, but they don’t and love steak.

  Made a reservation online. We called when we were on our way to advise them we were coming but a few minutes late. Hostess said she couldn’t find our reservation but not to worry she would make a new one over the phone. Got there and they didn’t have either! We ordered red fish and it came over cooked or it sat under a heat lamp too long. One shouldn’t need a knife to cut fish. It was dry, tough and crusty. It was well seasoned and the house salad was good. Ambrelle, our server was very pleasant but ditzy. We ordered oysters on the half shell and she just forgot. She offered to bring them when we were almost done. She removed our salad plates and asked if we wanted to keep our silverware or have new. We said new please. They brought the main course, no silverware. We waited several minutes while our fish was getting cold. Eventually I got up and got 2 sets from another table. At the end of the meal she asked if I wanted more water, I said yes. We were trying to leave when she finally brought the bill and a chocolate ice cream. And my water. They offered to cook another piece of fish but this was after we ate most of what they brought and we were leaving in the morning. Very disappointing especially from a Landry restaurant. Won’t be returning. There are other nice fish restaurants in MB.
