A customer stole in front of my face filled his backpack with goods. I called the store manager and showed him the person. He said there’s nothing they can do about it and let the guy walk away stealing a lot of money from the store. Before that, I told other employees about it, but nobody cared. I hope higher management sees this message. What a shame.

Being at various Food Lion retail stores in NC and SC, this particular store is the most remarkable. What stands out, is this store is particularly well organised. Most other stores have the same layout with the same shelving, which is convenient, since you have a reasonable idea where it is what you are looking for and that works well. So why change it? This store just somehow got it done better and that change set it apart from most others. Maybe it is the signs in the isles, or on the wall where the fresh produce are. Whatever it is, as a customer, you feel welcome in the store and feel satisfied with your purchase. Now if only the prices could be as inspiring as the store...how great would that be? Overall, this is a great store, which is not found everywhere.
