  Came in because I was here at the Broadway at the Beach. Walked in and donated to Make a Wish because kids with cancer deserve the world. My oldest son was in shock of how big this D&B is compared to the one we have in Wilmington, NC. I will be coming here everytime I'm back at the Broadway at the Beach.

  James the busmen absolutely made our experience exceptional. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, friendly, and incredibly hardworking. Everyone's table was always spotless, drinks were cleared quickly, and he constantly checked to make sure everything was running smoothly without ever being intrusive. What really stood out was his positive attitude and professionalism. James worked with a smile the entire time, even during a busy rush, and treated every guest with kindness and respect. It’s rare to see someone take so much pride in their work, and it truly elevated the whole dining experience. If every restaurant had a busmen like James, dining out would always be this enjoyable. He deserves recognition for his outstanding work ethic and customer service.

  The server was great, the kitchen staff and manager was not helpful. They eased u several orders. The waitress was amazing despite the multiple errors that the bartender, and other staff did incorrectly.

  The food is way over priced and mediocre at best. I ordered the steak salad and as soon as I ate a piece of steak I knew it was either expired meat or something. It smelled and tasted bad. So the waitress asked if I wanted a new meal so I got the chicken fingers, they were rubbery and oily. My son had the kids chicken tender meal and he didn’t like it and left most of it. My club soda tasted funny, my mom ordered a dragon fruit lemonade and it tasted funny and my son said his icee tasted funny. They must not be cleaning their drink fountains. I definitely won’t be returning for food maybe just games. It’s sad because I used to go to Dave and busters a lot in nyc and the Dave and busters in Greenville SC has much better food.

  *philly cheesesteak egg rolls and spinach dip was 10/10* I am writing to share a recent experience at your Myrtle Beach, South Carolina location that started off extremely frustrating, but ultimately ended with a resolution I do appreciate. I traveled nearly two hours with my family (a party of seven) and made a reservation for 3:15 PM. We arrived around 3:05 PM and were told our table was being cleaned. While waiting, several other customers nearby were already expressing frustration about short staffing and slow service. After being seated, I immediately noticed the table area had not been properly cleaned—there was still trash on the floor, including food. This gave a poor first impression, especially after being told the table was ready. Our waitress then asked right away if we wanted the “Eat & Play Combo.” I have visited Dave & Buster’s before, but not with a large family, and I was unfamiliar with how this combo worked. Unfortunately, she did not explain the details, flexibility, or limitations of the offer. My intention was simple: let the kids start playing while I ordered food so it would be ready when they returned. After activating the game cards and ordering appetizers, I attempted to place our full food order. At that point, I was told it was “too late” to apply the combo because the cards had already been activated. This was frustrating, especially since: - The combo was never clearly explained upfront - I was not informed that it could not be adjusted afterward - The meals I intended to order were already part of the combo offerings When I tried to clarify, the initial manager sided with the server without fully hearing me out, which made the situation more frustrating. Thankfully, a senior manager named Brittany stepped in. She listened, understood the issue, and worked toward a fair resolution. She offered to remove the appetizers and drinks and reset the order so we could proceed correctly. I appreciated her professionalism and willingness to resolve the situation. However, by that point, the experience had already been overwhelming. I decided I no longer wanted to continue dining. Brittany then went above and beyond by clearing the entire bill and allowing us to leave without charge, which I do genuinely appreciate. That said, the overall experience raises concerns: - Lack of clear communication about promotions - Poor initial table cleanliness - Inconsistent customer service from staff and management - Escalation that could have been avoided with better training While I am thankful for the final resolution, it should not have taken that level of back-and-forth to get there. I hope this feedback can be used to improve training, communication, and customer experience at this location. Thank you for your time.
