We went there March 15, 2014, which will be the LAST time we come here, which is too bad, because our family loves Italian food. Not very busy. Robby, our server, was excellent, which is why I give it two stars. If it wasn't for him, I would have given it one! It has been a while since we've been there as the last time we went there my wife got sick. My sons and I have always had a good experience there, so it took a little convincing to get my wife to go back there, so off we went. We got there and were immediately seated as they weren't that busy. Ordered drinks and appetizers, which were brought in a timely manner. I forget the name of the soup of the day, but it had lentil beans in it. First couple of bites were delicious, but then I bit down on something very crunchy. It broke in half in my mouth and, low and behold, it turned out to be a rock! I put it on the plate and when Robby came back over, I showed him and said I don't think this is supposed to be in my food. He apologized profusely, and took it in the kitchen. Someone else, whom I'm assuming was a manager because she didn't introduce herself, came over and asked if I was OK, and she said that "sometimes lentil beans have rocks in them and I guess they weren't cleaned enough," and apologized, and walked away. She seemed very "matter of fact" and she didn't offer anything to me like taking my meal off the bill or anything. Robby again apologized and gave us a free dessert, but we still had to pay for our meal! Anyway, not long after she left our table, my youngest son said look, a bug! Yep! There was a bug on our table. Unbelievable! My last disappointment was with the menu changes. I used to order Pasta Weesie, which was more than a grown man could eat. Now it is called Fettucini Weesie, so I said it won't be that different. When I got my meal, it looked like an appetizer, and it was terrible. One big clump of fettucini noodles with a little bit of sauce, 4-5 shrimp, and some mushrooms. BIG disappointment. A phone call will be made to them this morning about my complaints. I will post those results. My level of optimism is very low with regards to the outcome. I understand mistakes are made, but it's how you handle them that makes the difference. Had these mistakes been handled properly, this review probably wouldn't have been written.
