- OOOrlandoAug 8, 20261.0Title: Great burgers, but the kitchen management needs a complete overhaul Five Guys usually delivers a solid, reliable meal, but this location is severely bogged down by inefficient operations and poor team coordination. While the food quality met the standard expectations once received, getting to that point was a unnecessarily frustrating process. The lobby was packed with waiting customers, yet the bottleneck was clearly taking place behind the counter. A few employees were attempting to handle the entire load of grill and fry stations last night, while multiple other staff members seemed disengaged, aimlessly moving around or standing by without stepping in to assist with food preparation. Must have been the headphones on the guy making fries totally spaced out on service. With a line and people waiting ticket times stretching well beyond reason, seeing available staff passively watch their teammates drown in orders is a major management issue. Until leadership focuses on cross-training and creating a functional, proactive assembly line during rush hours, expect long, disorganized waits at this location.

Place was pretty busy, only two people in there were eating everyone else waiting on their food. 8 minutes went by and not a single meal was made.... Especially the people doing the fries. Why does it always take 10 minutes after the burgers are already made to stick some fries in a bag. My burgers were almsot done being made, the lead kept telling fry guy "i need 2 fries" guy said ok then sat there for 3 minutes talking to another employee and never made the fries... then 6 minutes later sticks fries into the bag then goes back to talking to the other employee instead of just handing me the damn bag. Then they just stare into space while people are waiting on them to do their easy jobs. The time before this same thing happened. Foods ready, but lets make them wait over 10 minutes to stick fries in a bag, I got so tired of waiting I just left without the food. How is this slightly logical to five guys? "We prep fries on arrival so they dont get cold" cool now the main part of the meal, the burger, gets cold. Really smart idea guys. This is honestly just pathetic. The shorter black guy who seems like the manager or lead actually hustles and does good but he cant make up the slack of everyone else
