We were in the BH today for lunch. We have been going to this place for years and love the food and service. However today, when we went for lunch (my favorite) Wednesday fried chicken. Our server was either in a bad mood or just not interested in serving. We ordered and everything went well we were in a hurry due to an appointment and said so. They only had 3 tables left in the entire restaurant and we were one of the three. So not busy at all and end of the lunch day. We waited over and over and had to repeatedly ask for refills on our drink. The server repeatedly would come right next to us and turn her back and fill up the other tables drinks and walk away from us, even with me saying excuse me. Those attempts were ignored. When I asked her for our check and a box and a lid for the ranch she brought the lid and the box no check. We got that because I had to get up and go and ask another server for our server. Then again waiting and waiting. We finally just got up and went to the register and she was talking and walking out of the back. We said we needed our check and she brought it. The lady at the registration asked how was everything. I said the meals were good but the service was horrible. She said can you hold a minute and went and told the server. The server then followed us out into the waiting area were u walk out and proceeded to say very loudly. I hope you have a great day, I hope you have a blessed day over and over as we are trying to walk out the door and get to our vehicle. When I say over and over, over 4 times. She was incredibly mad. We were respectful and said we hope u have a good day as well and didn’t repeat ourselves. It was incredibly unprofessional. If I go to a restaurant and I say we are in a hurry because of appointments. If I have to ask other servers for help and the server repeatedly ignores us. That is bad service. I could see if this place was packed but it was getting ready to close and with us leaving only 2 tables left. We work hard for our money and I have every right to not give someone a tip who doesn’t deserve one. Like I said we have been going to this place for years and we give very good tips which exceeds 25% when we eat at the Barony house. It’s just so sad that a server would follow a customer out like this and raise her voice to that level because of her own actions which caused her not to get a tip. It was completely unprofessional behavior not only from the server but the young girl at the register. Just not a good way to do business. We will not be going back!

I’ve been to this restaurant a couple of times, and while the food is pretty good, the service can be hit or miss. The atmosphere is nice, though, and the outdoor seating is great on a nice day. I might come back, but I hope for faster service next time!

Visited 6 mar and ordered the Mahi with mango sauce (as server described), it was brought to table absolutely dry and inedible. There’s was no mango sauce but the server then explained it wasn’t just a mango rub. We told the server when asked‘“ how is everything‘?” The fish was not edible. We have not had anything bad previously but would have expectedly at an apology or at least acknowledgement. Go and enjoy the beef and fried dishes but don’t order the fish!
