When the app kept glitching and wouldn't process correctly, I called the store and politely asked if they could make a quesadilla, explaining the issue with the app. I was told no and that they would not accommodate the request. We ended up driving to the restaurant anyway, and my wife ordered a bowl instead. While the food itself was disappointing, what really stood out was the attitude of the staff. The employee preparing our bowls acted as though we were an inconvenience from the moment we walked in. Then, when it came time to pay, the cashier informed me, "We don't take cash." Confused, I asked what he meant, and he explained that they couldn't provide change back. Fortunately, I happened to have the exact amount and was able to complete the transaction without further issue. The second photo shows what was supposed to be fajita veggies on the side. Instead, it looks like lettuce and tomatoes were simply tossed into the container with little care or attention. To make matters worse, I've called multiple times attempting to speak with a General Manager or District Manager regarding this experience. Every single time, I've either been hung up on or unable to get any assistance. I genuinely didn't want to leave a negative review because we normally love Chipotle. However, the way this situation has been handled—or more accurately, not handled—has been incredibly disappointing. The lack of customer service, poor attitudes, and complete absence of follow-up have turned what should have been a simple meal into a frustrating experience.
