  This is one of the best food lions in the Grand Strand region! Groceries are amazing with fresh produce, vegetables, and meats and if I’m not mistaken their prices may vary a little less than other locations

  I had a horrible experience in there today. First, I was in the cottage cheese area and a fellow was loading the cooler. He waved me on by, but I said I needed to get in the area he was working. He said, "Say excuse me. If you don't say something I'm going to keep on working." Wow, really! Then I went to check out and I scanned an item that didn't take, so I re-scanned it. The employee watching that area had to come over and watch the video. Then she stood there watching me like I was some kind of a criminal. Wow. From now on I won't be going down the isle if I see that dude working and I won't be doing self checkout again. Sheesh!

  I’m not sure what the problem was. I assume it had been a long day. Still does not make how my husband or myself were treated this evening at this food lion location! As we were checking out, I was paying for the groceries I have a tendency to keep my money j in n Cash App and keep bank account my card locked. So I had to love money over, WHICH I STATED. Obviously the cashier was bothered by this, as she kept rolling her eyes because if how long I was taking to move my money over to pay for the groceries. As I was doing this my husband angled the buggy toward the door. He wasn’t planning on leaving just maneuvering the buggy while I paid, the clerk then states “you can’t leave until she pays! (Very hateful tone I might add) he then asks her to repeat herself and she says yet again very rudely YOU CANT LEAVE HNTIL SHE PAYS! I then move the money over and pay for our things. She treated us as if we couldn’t afford what we were getting. She truly upset both of us! We are not thieves we pay for everything and are local business owners! I’ve been in there before and she has a tendency to be on the road side. I guess, you just have to catch her on her good days and probably not towards Closing time! I will be reaching out to the manager tomorrow morning!.
