We couldn’t wait to come here for dinner. More for the margaritas. The staff is super friendly and personable. The inside is very nice. Good music and more important Great selection of drinks. The margarita pitcher was awesome. We were able to get 6 -7 drinks out of 1. We started off with the queso blanco I probably wouldn’t order it again as it was really thin and watery. I’d go for another app if I go back. My go to meal is always a chimichangas tbh I was very disappointed. It was “meh”. Super small from what I’m used to seeing on the plate. The taste didn’t reflect authentic either. Not like SJ. IYKYK the rice had a paella taste with a hint of seafood. Idk why but it did to me. I also tried a soft grilled chicken taco. It was nothing special. Didn’t taste grilled. Didn’t really taste any seasoning. The dessert was delicious. Flan was so good. My friend ordered the churros. Although I didn’t try it, they did look really good and he stated it was very good. They are new to the area and maybe they are working out some kinks with the food. All in all I would give this place another shot. Maybe in a few months.

It was Friday night so the place was packed. We got one of the last available parking spots. The host greeted us right away and said inside dining was a 30 minute wait but may be quicker than that. They seated us after about 15 minutes. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas at the servers suggestion. It took longer to get them then I expected. We asked for 3 glasses with sugar and one with salt and got 2 and 2 instead. I told the server and he just said "oh, sorry" without offering to correct it. We ordered an appetizer and dinners. The dinners came out first and when I asked about the appetizer sampler we ordered the server said "I forgot, let me check". I was going to tell him to skip the appetizer at this point, but he didn't give me a chance. He brought it about halfway through the meal with a story about how another server had taken his plate and he had another one made. Food was really good. Portions were generous and price was reasonable. Service was kind of amateur hour. Will we go back? Yes, maybe when they are less busy to get better service, because it may be the best Mexican food in town.

First time visiting this new restaurant. We were greeted immediately and cheerfully and sat immediately. Busy place, but thats to be expected. Its a new place and lots like me were excited to try it out. Our waitress was super fun and sweet. Didnt mind a few minutes of delay getting our bar drinks, which werent quite right but nothing to cry about. Ordered straight tequila on the rocks, no salt, no lime. Received a tall shot glass of tequila with lime. No biggie, i enjoy it at room temp as well. My wife's drink was perfect for her. Ordered our meals and again, good sized delay but it was a bit busy so understandable. However, when we got our food, i was very underwhelmed. The food was quite bland. I ordered a combo dish that has a burrito, tamale, and enchilada on it... all three were covered with a dark red sauce that was a cross between tomato and bbq. I could see it on an enchilada...but on all three different preparations was weird for me. Without the sauce the flavors seemed dull/bland. I have heard that their tacos we outstanding, so I will retry the menu in the near future and update this review. But the first visit does not have me wanting to give up my current favorite haunts for mexican / tex mex.

I was expecting something good after this building sat empty for so long. Lexington is growing, it's food and night life are the attractions that everyone has hopes for. However this was one of the worst experiences, the hostess seated us with no wait, and said our server would be over shortly. Shortly was 20min, as a family of four, we were brought a basket of chips that had less than a handful in it, and a half empty bottle of salsa. When the server finally arrived to take our drink order, we waited again, 15 minutes more, we had to ask another server to get the drinks. Finally took the food order, the server read the order back, and after an 40min our food arrived at the table. The food was cold, every dish was made wrong, and when this was brought up to the server, she said "that's how it gets made". The server never attempted to make the food correct, never refilled a single cup on the table, the drinks that were ordered from the bar had to be non-alcoholic, because it was just margarita mix. So that's when another table beside ours began to complain to a woman who appeared to be the manager. The other table was having issues with their orders as well, when we voiced the issue with our meals, the manager told us that " we're just busy, it's to be expected". NO, the place was half empty, it's not because they were busy, this place had potential, but after paying 100$ for cold food, incorrectly made, and terrible service, I will never recommend them to anyone. There's too many restaurants in Lexington that want to be great, give them the business, because this place sure didn't strive to provide a good experience.

Time: Thursday night 630 pm Very busy: Quoted: 5 minutes waited 25 minutes Drinks: 2 sweet teas a water and a watermelon mock tail After 20 minutes we were told they were out of the watermelon so we ordered the strawberry, we watched the server ask the manager who is bartending multiple times for the drink , it came at 42 minutes and it was surprisingly watermelon Food: combo D, tacos, quesadilla, and senor birds platter or something like that, food came out at 45 minutes and was cold , I dont mind the wait , to waiting for cold taco meat is not on my todo list. Service: the only high light of the night our server was running and I mean running shehad way to many tables but was keeping up well , her name was Sloan and she was fantastic, We asked the the manager and she came over , we explained that the food was cold , and she asked us if we want it remade , we said no and she grabbed the food the left, no apologies no sorry about that, nothing If the manager doesn't care, why should we ever come back, We made the server ring something up so we could tip her 100% no her fault,
