We called ahead around 9:30 on 8/14/26 to confirm the kitchen was open until 11:000, then were seated at a visibly dirty bar around 9:50.
The moment we sat down, the bartender sprayed cleaning solution across the bar in front of us and wiped it into a sticky mess — our menus stuck to the surface and had to be peeled off with napkins. A poured beer then sat waiting at the tap for ten minutes until we asked for it a second time. No one checked on our food, offered a refill, or acknowledged us unless we flagged them down.
While we were still eating a $100 dinner, including lobster, staff ran full closing procedures around us — sweeping under our seats and slinging mop water across the floor behind the bar. We finally had to ask for the check ourselves just to leave.
I've worked in hospitality and understand closing side-work. This wasn't that. Paying guests who ordered before close shouldn't spend the meal watching the place get cleaned around them. We won't be back.

Have not been to Outback in 10+ years, thought we'd give it a try last night for a special occasion. Probably won't go back anytime soon. While the atmosphere and service was ok, the food was not as good. Ordered the famous Bloomin' Onion, tasted burnt, like it was fried in old scorched oil and was barely edible. Next up our main course. I ordered the fillet/lobster tail. I ordered my steak medium well, it came out rare. After the first bite, I noticed a funny taste, it was extremely gamey. I asked our waiter to throw it back on the grill. About 15 minutes later, it came out super well done. Again after tasting, something was off and I could not eat it. My wife got the sirloin, I tasted hers and it seemed normal. We were there a lot longer than usual, was not worth complaining about it, just won't go back, there are way too many other options in the Lexington area. Total bill was $120+, definitely disappointed. On a positive note, my beer was cold.

We absolutely loved the positivity of all at this restaurant. Everyone was extremely nice and attentive to our needs.
Chris is a new waiter and did an outstanding job. Joel, the manager, came over to make sure all was well.
Every time we come here, we feel like we are their only guest. How refreshing!
At another steak house, they quit serving horseradish when we asked for it .. they said it was too hard to keep. Well this Outback said, horseradish, which do you prefer, creamy or straight up...
Please give this restaurant a try if you haven't. I don't mind tipping big or paying for excellent service and food, where we feel important!
Thank you to all at Outback in Lexington SC

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! Got to this Outback and the bar was a complete mess! I waited for what seemed like an eternity to place a drink order. I finally asked the hostess if she could find someone to take my beverage order. She said sure and a little later the person working the bar came out and started yelling at me, shouting “I told you to wait!! Very bad experience. I will not be back.
P.S. ordered bread and never got that! :)

We went for a dinner date tonight. It was probably the worst experience we have ever had with any Outback resturant. 2 of the menu items were unavailable and they were both steaks. We ordered a 13 Oz ribeye instead medium rare. Came out doused in so much seasoning it was inedible. I ordered fries and even after the server came back to repeat ask my side it was still brought out as a loaded baked potato. I ordered ranch on the side for my salad. Server went back 3 times to get it before I actually got it. Fries eventually were brought out but cold and like I was in the wrong. The only glimmer of hope on the meal was the drinks from the bar that we had with dinner were done very well. Everything else was $116.00 worth of mess. Probably will not return to this location.
