  Rick & I ate here today for ourv41st anniversary. The food was great, the atmosphere beautiful. We felt like we were on vacation. Our waitress was precious. She even bought us a brownie a la mode for our anniversary. Great experience.

  My friend and I went to Brickwood today and had an absolutely superb lunch! The most beautiful drink I have ever seen. . . A sparkling elderflower. It was in the most beautiful glass with the rim dipped in sugar. It was the most beautiful lilac color with a dried citrus slice and a delicate piece of lilac. (Or an herb of some sort.) Brooke has gotten this drink down to an art! My friend and I both came with the idea of having shrimp for lunch because generally it is on the menu, but today it was not. We really had that in mind and told our server, Megan, that we had really wanted shrimp and she offered that perhaps the chef would be willing to do a basically sautéed shrimp with herbs on a bit of lettuce and some remoulade on the side! It was fabulous and the fact that the chef was willing to do that made it so much the better. We felt very pampered. Our server by the way, had the perfect balance of service and allowing us our space so that we could relax and enjoy our meal. Dessert. Coffee with cream and sugar, and a beautiful coconut crème brûlée! The crème brûlée was cooked to perfection and the rich coffee was the perfect compliment. My friend and I both love the ambience and service of this restaurant. There are several dining areas that offer something different for every mood; there’s the bar area, the porch overlooking the golf course, and the dining room. The front porch with its high ceiling fans and rocking chairs is a wonderful place to relax after the meal!

  It’s been a year+ since they opened. The atmosphere is beautiful. The staff is finding their footing and very friendly.That being said I’m disappointed that they can’t seem to get their arms around the culinary side. The food is inconsistent & they have dumbed down the menu since opening. When they started they had a great crab cake, I had one recently ( won’t do that again). Come on guys this place has so much potential. We live in Edgewater and I have a selfish motivation. I’d rather not drive 45 to 60 mins to get a decent meal out!

  This is a beautiful, brand new restaurant with a gorgeous view, to boot! I was greeted immediately by friendly staff who seated me quickly. Upon the recommendation of the server, I ordered the salmon, and I’m so happy I did! It was filling and full of flavor and my water glass never got low. I don’t typically order dessert, but I was having such a lovely dining experience that I decided on a slice of key lime pie. What a treat! I’m looking forward to coming back and bringing a friend next time to enjoy the delicious food, the ambience, and the great service with me.
