  This was my first time eating at smashburger. My husband and I took the kids. I didn’t like that everything is sold separately. No combos at all. Only kids meals. I did not like that I couldn’t afford pickles to my child’s burger which she absolutely loves on her burgers. That made her not want it. She decided to get a chicken sandwich instead which was 2 tenders on a bun. The burgers were good tho my soda was also nasty. I might try one more location to be sure I’m not overreacting.

  What a turnaround! This was, without question, the best experience we’ve ever had at Smashburger. From the moment we walked in, every employee was friendly, professional, and genuinely seemed to care. Our food came out quickly, was hot and delicious, and every request from our kids—even extra sauces and little add-ons—was handled immediately with a smile. What impressed me most was the pride the staff took in the restaurant. I watched an employee quietly notice trash on the floor and immediately pick it up without hesitation. It’s those little things that say a lot about a team. The burgers were outstanding—easily some of the best in Columbia—but the exceptional customer service is what truly stood out. If this is the new standard, you’ve gained loyal customers. We’ll absolutely be back!

  We were traveling and needed to pick up dinner while my husband was in a meeting for an hour. I was really appreciative of the discount I got for being a first responder. We ordered double bacon with the bun on the side, a classic a double, a classic, an order of smash tots and brussel sprouts. As picky as I am.... I would go back again and we have already shared with other people to stop by the one in Irmo when they travel between NC and Florida! It was so worth it!

  Lyla did an excellent job taking our order and helping me use some reward points. This was the first time we received our milkshake before the meal. As always the food was great and we look forward to our next visit!

  Saltiest meal I’ve ever had. Stopped in on our drive to Charleston about 20 minutes before they closed for takeout burgers and fries. Was driving back onto the freeway before I took my first bite - it was awful. Both our burgers and fries orders were WAY over seasoned. We ended up not eating and tossing the bags into the trash at our next stop.
