  First thing, it was 10:58am. The place opened at 10:45am. I went to the drive thru and told it was only for mobile orders. The signs don’t indicate that. The signs state “Drive-Thru” ONLY. I went inside and the entire vibe was off. There were available staff to wait on me but before someone came, one employee said “I’m on the grill and that’s where I’m staying”. Another employee says back to her “I’m on the register and that’s where I’m staying”. I finally get to place my simple chicken burrito bowl order and I asked for shredded cheese and was told “we don’t have any”. I asked for lettuce and was told “we don’t have any.” Then someone said “there’s lettuce and cheese at the drive thru but you keep telling people that we’re out.” The employee then went to look and came back and said “the drive thru is just like ours, we don’t have any shredded cheese or lettuce”. I said wow. The cashier asked if there was anything else abcs I told her just my receipt because I don’t like the negative vibe in here. I’m not going back. I’ll go to the one on Harbison Blvd. in Columbia. My fits was adequate

  Where do I start about this chipotle. One of the worst I’ve ever gone to the staff is severely underprepared for opening a new restaurant waiting there 30+ minutes to get food and staff being belligerent and rude towards customers. Over 15 people waiting for mobile orders and then they told us they only have two people working with mobile orders. Also waited in the drive-through for 20 minutes before I came into the store to wait for another 20 to 30 minutes.

  I came here for lunch on a Friday during peak lunch hour. I almost drove to the Harbison location because of these reviews, but I had a great experience! Everyone was so friendly, the portions were good, chicken was fresh, service was very quick. I ate outside and noticed that the cars moved through the drive thru quickly. Don’t let the negative reviews dissuade you from going! Happy to have a Chipotle in Ballentine!

  food was okay. the rice was crunchy and the portions are a lot smaller than other chipotles i’ve been to. For this place being brand new, i kind of expected staff to be super friendly. they weren’t. they weren’t what you would want as a customer service worker. They were just rude and had no interest in talking. Completely ridiculous to have THAT as the face of a brand new store. The atmosphere was okay but there were literally NO FORKS. All spoons. Kind of crazy. I would recommend going to the Harbison one and save yourself from the incredibly mediocre experience of this store

  For the love of everything good, please stay far away as possible from this Chipotle until they get it figured out. 4/25- my pick up time was 7:20 pm. I arrived a few minutes early, around 7:15pm but I did not walk out with food in hand until 8:13pm. Keep in mind, that was after they asked my name THREE times to check on my order so after 45min I asked them to refund my order because I was not waiting any longer and my food was magically ready and was sitting on the shelf in the back. Got home, cold food, cheese had reached room temperature it had been sitting so long. Again, they asked what my name was three times and said it wasn't ready. There is one worker in there, and I really wish I would've gotten her name because not only did her attitude suck towards the customers asking about their orders, but it sucked towards her fellow co-workers too. I heard her call them outside of their names multiple times in the almost hour I sat there watching them make every single order, because what else is there to do while you wait? Nothing. Not a pleasant experience at all. Make the further drive to the Harbison Chipotle until they get it together over there!
