  Placed an order for the new delivery system and it was a MAJOR fail! Delivery driver delivered my groceries to someone else, so I called the store after not receiving my order. I was told not our problem for me to call the delivery company. I made the order with food lion on their web site not with a delivery company. So I called Corporate a refund was automatically issued that was going to take 7-10 business days to get me my money back. When all they had to do was allow me to come get what I had paid for but I was told I could not u less I wanted to charge my account a second time for the same amount that I had already paid for. So my opinion don’t use this system food lion has its not worth it

  Went to this store today not only were the savings great but the bakery is my favorite .. if you ever see the oatmeal rain cream cookies grab them they are amazing

  Great sales! Love the idea of scanning a QR code to access even more. It's very clean and well-stocked.

  The pre-packaged baked goods look terrible. Like they came out a truck stop vending machine..This is 100% on Food Lion buyers and their suppliers though.. Junk and unpleasant looking choices... Then wander into he produce area of desolation... Half the produce is beyond salvation and the shape of the "decent" stuff is less than quality.. Head on into the meat dept and view the various cuts of aged grey beef and chicken that lasts a day in the fridge.. I would stay far away from the Pork....Terrible experience.. The shelves look unclean and poorly stocked in most of the store.. This store went through a fairly recent remodel as well, and it still looks delapitated, the dairy coolers always seem to be in some sort of leaking, defrosting or warm.. It seems management/supervisors/recievers have become complacent and accept anything without quality control... Sometimes I feel like Im shopping at "Quality foods" or a discount grocery store.. I try to avoid going as much as humanly possible but there are those times. I will say that the staff is generally pleasant and helpful.

  I always get quality meat and produce here. They have a great selection of staples as well. The store is always clean, and the employees are always friendly. Its always enjoyable shopping here!
