Everything these guys make is phenomenal. From the horchata, birrira egg rolls, cheetos birria balls, and fries, to the quesadillas, burritos, and tacos. They simply do not miss. Staff is always super friendly and welcoming, too. This is THE Mexican restaurant for me and my loved ones in Boiling Springs/Inman. ♥️

First off the service was great. Everyone was friendly and the service was fast. All of the food had a good flavor and the prices were decent. I only gave four stars because the meat for the quesabirrias was too tough to chew.

My wife and I went to Chilangos yesterday for the first time. I am writing this review not to criticize them but I hope they will take this as a learning experience. I want all local businesses to succeed. I know opening a new business is tough and is a constant period of trying what works and what does not. We were greeted promptly and seated in a booth. Our waitress was friendly and nice. We received our drinks quickly. My wife ordered the Birria tacos and I ordered an Asada burrito with rice and beans, which costs extra. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere. While we were waiting for our food they brought us free chips and salsa. The chips were good. I like spicy salsa but the salsa they brought us was extremely mild, no spice at all. I asked if they had a hot salsa also and the waitress said they do not but she could bring us a spicy sauce they put on top of some of the meals. She brought us the sauce and we mixed it with the mild salsa and it made it better. I would recommend they provide more than one option for salsa, (Chips & Cheese, Los Mayas, Casa Carrion). My wife received her meal quickly and the meat was very good but she said the corn tortillas could be a little more crispy. My wife had almost finished eating her meal and I had still not received mine. The manager came by our table and asked how everything was, I told him I was still waiting for my burrito. I could hear him go in the back and ask the chef about my burrito. He came back out and told me apparently there was a glitch in the computer system and my order never made it back to the chef. About 10 minutes later I received my burrito in a plastic basket with paper on the bottom. I tried to pick up the burrito to eat it but the tortilla was so small it did not wrap entirely around the burrito. I had to leave it in the basket and cut it up. The asada was not tender. it was obvious it was cut up quickly and put on a flattop and grilled. I also noticed there were a very little rice and no beans in my burrito. The waitress came by so see how we were doing and I told her I have ordered my burrito with rice and beans which costs extra. She looked at my plate and said, "Well, there is a little in there." I told here there were no beans at all. She then said she would bring me a plate of rice and beans, which she did. My meal should have been put on a plate and not in a basket. The burrito leaked onto the paper on the bottom of the basket and the paper was falling apart getting mixed in with my burrito. I had to transfer my burrito to the plate of rice and beans she brought me to eat it so I would not be eating paper. Please take this review as a learning experience. We would like to go back again and try different things on the menu. To the management, I know you cannot fix what you don't know is wrong. I hope our next experience will be better.
