  It's on the beach but that's about the only thing going for it. Hot beer, wrong wine, terrible service. Music was meh. They close at 10:00 and there was a shooting there on the 4th of July.

  We had a group of 6, but were able to find a seat quickly. Since one person in out party has some mobility issues and we're staying elsewhere on the island, we had to drive through the entrance area of the hotel parking lot to drop her off and pick her up,which they kindly allowed us to do, and had to park on the free lot across the street. The walk from the entrance area was still a bit difficult for our friend. With that said, we all enjoyed our food and the ocean view. Live music at the end of our meal was a treat.

  Able to get our table of 16 seated quickly on a holiday weekend (Thursday). Live music by the beach, brisket sandwich and the nachos were amazing. Chicken sandwich was a little dry, but still good. Had a great evening with friends.

  The iconic beachfront venue for live music on Hilton Head! Nationally recognized as one of the best beach bars in the country. I have performed at and dined at the Tiki Hut many times over the last 10 years. Recently renovated (2 years ago), with expanded seating and views for patrons—it's a lot more expansive and open than it used to be. The renovations were bad for musicians, however, with a smaller stage that is covered with sand and separated from audience members. The old Tiki stage put the band and audience together, for a much more intimate and energetic experience. Food is average and service is average, and at peak season hours, you have to wait forever for food and drinks. Closes early (10 PM) due to light restrictions on the beach, which is a major buzzkill for partygoers. Still an iconic venue, though, with amazing views.

  VERY DISAPPOINTED with our experience. (June 8th 2026) We wanted to surprise my wife and my uncle with birthday cakes. Before coming to the restaurant, we called and were told that although they do not provide cakes, we could bring our own and they would help us arrange the surprise. After going through the trouble of getting two cakes and keeping them hidden from the birthday guests, the staff suddenly told us they could not keep the cakes because they "did not have space" — which was quite surprising considering the size of the restaurant. They even suggested that we leave the cakes at a neighboring restaurant and ask them to bring them over when needed. Since we had a group of 14 people (10 adults and 4 children), we decided not to waste time looking for another place and proceeded with our order. While we were taking family photos just a few feet away from our table, two waiters brought out both cakes before the food was even ready, completely ruining the surprise. The staff were not supportive, showed very little interest in helping, and came across as rude throughout the experience. A special occasion that should have been memorable turned into a very disappointing experience.. You can add this paragraph to your review... What I still don't understand is why the waiters seemed to be in such a hurry and constantly rushing us. We were there with family celebrating two birthdays, yet it felt like they wanted us to finish as quickly as possible rather than enjoy the occasion. The lack of patience, hospitality, and customer care made the experience even more disappointing.
