  My son’s shrimp plate was great some of the best shrimp I have had in a while. My fish sandwich had good flavor but the fish filet only took up half the bun so the other half of my sandwich was just lettuce and bread … which was disappointing. The server was also not friendly or attentive. Better places to spend your money.

  Went twice because it's a great location but the food both times was mediocre at best. Guessing the burger had been floating in hot water too long and flavorless. Mahi mahi was dry. Too bad neat place on the beach. JP was really good at the bar.

  I visited The Porch Southern Kitchen & Bar at the The Beach House hotel with my family twice over Memorial Day weekend, and both experiences were solid. The menu offers a good range of food options, enough variety to keep things interesting without feeling overwhelming. They also have a decent beer selection along with a full bar, which is always a plus. Service was consistently very friendly on both visits. For dinner on the first night, I had the Bronzed Mahi Mahi, which was flavorful and nicely prepared. When I returned for lunch on the third day, I tried the Porch Wrap with ham, and it made for a satisfying midday meal with a refreshing side of fresh fruit. Even though the restaurant is open‑air, it was surprisingly comfortable thanks to the large ceiling fans. Even on a hot day, the airflow kept things pleasant without feeling stuffy. Overall, The Porch delivers good food, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere--definitely worth a stop if you're staying nearby or just passing through.

  We tried this place for breakfast and it was very good. My wife had Eggs Bendict and thought the meal was very good. I had the omelet and bacon with some hashbrowns and that were good also. The service was even better!

  The place looked nice, but the food was way overpriced. The service was decent, not super friendly but not rude either. A kind server tried her best in making sure the food was to our liking however sadly the food was nowhere near worth its high price. We mistook the grits with chicken to be potatoes and the taste was off-putting. The chicken tasted amazing, the steak was described by my family as not tasting like stake. The mashed potatoes were okay. The Porch salad was good just too salty. I do have to thank the staff for saving my purse when I walked away without it. I ran back and they had put it in a safe place for me. I feel bad not having good things to say but I felt the need to leave a review since we were surprised by the prices and lack of quality.
