  Attempted to have lunch here at noon today. There were a couple tables inside and out. The hostess told us to have a seat where we were comfortable. We counted 6 restaurant employees, none of whom stopped by our table with menus, take a drink order, etc. It was unreasonably hot, as none of the fans were running. After waiting 14 minutes for any type of service, while the hostess fanned herself at the bar, we left. We were welcomed at the Tiki Hut, and greeted immediately. Throughout the course of our lunch, the Porch hostess chatted up several Tiki employees at least half a dozen times, doing anything but her job. Won’t even waste our time coming back.

  ⭐️⭐️ Disappointing Experience for the Price The atmosphere was nice—coastal, open, and overlooking the pool area. However, despite the location, we couldn’t actually see the beach from where we were seated. Unfortunately, the food and service were disappointing. The ahi tuna was overcooked and served with what looked like chopped cabbage. For the price, the presentation was very underwhelming and not what I expected. The chicken sausage pasta was another disappointment. There was surprisingly very little pasta in the dish, even though pasta is probably the least expensive ingredient. Instead, it was mostly sauce with very little substance. Our drink order was also incorrect. We ordered a Miami Vice but received what tasted like just the coconut/piña colada portion. Our waiter didn’t come back to check on us until we were basically finished with our meal, so there really wasn’t an opportunity to address the issues while we were eating. For a meal that ended up costing around $100 for two people, I expected much better food, presentation, and service. The coastal atmosphere was enjoyable, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to make up for the overall experience. We left really disappointed.

  Extremely uncomfortable experience. We are told to sit where we want, and then are not greeted for about 8 minutes. The younger server girl seems annoyed we are there. We ask for 2 lattes and 2 waters, and put our food order in. She brings our hot lattes after the food comes out and they were cold.. and then I ask for 2 waters again and she brings them out when we are almost done eating. It was not busy, it was as if she was purposely neglecting us. My girlfriend and I both work in restaurants and we tip extra when we have discount coupons or anything, so it felt pretty bad to reward such poor service but we did tip her over 20% of the original bill. It was very bad experience and the exact opposite of yesterday when we had breakfast being taken care of by a very sweet girl. I would add a star just for that previous sweet girl, and I never write reviews for restaurants, but that was extremely disrespectful. I don’t know if this restaurant has standards because even the manager seemed rude, she placed the menus on-top of my hand, no- she didn’t hand them to me, she just plops them down on my hands. Good food, terrible service today.

  The staff was so welcoming and attentive. The food was so delicious! Quick service. Great options on the menu. We ate here several times on our vacation. Food is not overpriced and the atmosphere is nice.
