Wonderful little food spot. Chill vibes and incredible food. Chicken sandwich with pimento cheese is the best chicken sandwich ever. And the homemade chips also the best I have ever eaten. You should eat here!
I can't rave enough about how good the food is. I think the location keeps it as a hidden gem. Everything on the menu looks great. My first visit I was craving a Po'boy sandwich. It was so good I return just for it and have tried the other dishes. Trust me, you are not doing yourself any favors by staying away. Stop in and give it a try. Prices are very reasonable and half what I spent on Tybee Island the night before for just okay food. I can't wait to go back.

Lulu Kitchen is delightful. I wish that I had taken more pictures of my food, but the meal was too good thar I forgot. The citrus beet salad and the blue claw crab cab were very tasty appetizers; and that is saying something because I have roots in Maryland. Marylanders take crabs and crab cakes very seriously.
Main entries included low country shrimp and grits, and Waygu ravioli with lobster sauce (aka surf and turf ravioli). Both were tasty too.
Dessert is where I forgot the photo because it was a chocolate souffle (really good) and a fresh key lime pie.
They also served a fresh and refreshing strawberry rose sangria. Amazing.
Service and atmosphere were great for the late lunch/early dinner.

My family and I came in for Sunday brunch in total a party of 10, 3 of them being high chairs. It took a bit to set up which we didn't mind because we were a walk in. Once we sat down it took 10 minutes before anyone got to us. We got waters finally but another 5-10 minutes went by so I went inside to ask for a drink menu and I got slightly ignored as all the servers were arguing about something. I decided to walk away after feeling awkward with them arguing, a server stepped out with menus and apologized and said someone will be over shortly. Once the server came over the first thing she said was " just so everyone knows we don't sell liquor on Sundays" instead of introducing her name she was worried about us ordering liquor. She was an older woman, but never once did she mention her name. After she took our food order she came back 10 minutes later to confirm our orders again, seemed odd about. It took almost 30 minutes for our food to come out. I personally ordered a waygu burger with no pickles or tomatoes. It was brought out with both and as I was trying to tell her I need her to change the entire bun but I was left speechless when she reached at my plate and picked off the pickle and tomato off the burger with her bare hands. I was disgusted honestly when she did that. If she did that in plain sight I wonder how nasty they can be in the kitchen. My sister then proceeded to ask for a side of strawberries and raspberries for one of the kids and the server replied "we don't have raspberries" as she was setting down a parfait with strawberries and raspberries...... I could go on about the other multiple things that occurred but overall, the server seemed miserable and didn't care to talk to us. Service was terrible, the food was alright but not worth the trouble. I have never been so disappointed to where I leave a review and that's from someone that's been in f&b for 10 years. I will most likely not be returning nor recommending.

Where do I even start with how bad this experience was? First, nobody greeted us after being sat. We waited for 10 minutes (checked the time) before one of us got up and went to the host stand to ask for drink menus and also if a server would be coming over soon. All the servers started yelling and arguing with each other about seating charts and who had what section… so we came back to the table and continued waiting. A drink menus was brought out to us and then 2 minutes later the server came out, no introduction just said “just to let you know, on Sundays we can’t serve liquor just wine and mimosas”. She took our orders and 7 minutes later came back and asked if she could go over all our orders again. She left again and then we waited for 15 minutes before food started coming out. My sister asked for the burger with no tomato and no pickles, however when it came out it had both. She held the plate up to the server and pointed out that it had those items and the server reached out and grabbed the pickle and tomatoes off her burger with her bare hands and then walked away… my sister was absolutely disgusted that the server did that. When she finally came back again she asked for it to be remade. I got the eggs Benedict and the eggs weren’t poached… they were literally cooked like a boiled egg instead. At one point we also asked if we could order a side of fruit with just strawberries and raspberries and the server said they don’t have raspberries meanwhile we have a parfait sitting next to us either raspberries on it…. So we asked for strawberries and she said sure but then never brought it. Overall the server seemed like she was in a bad mood and didn’t want to serve us.
They also have no changing tables for anybody coming with infants or toddlers. We ended up with a bill of $240 for food that wasn’t good and terrible service. Also we were refused to be given a receipt with the breakdown of pricing. I went back through the menu and added up all the items we ordered and it came out to $192 before tip. Our bill showed $240 and we still left a cash tip. But when I went back to ask for a copy they said that wasn’t possible to give me.
Editing since I’m not able to respond to the owners reply. Three burgers were ordered and one was with no pickles and no tomato, and my sister pointed this out to the server and lifted the plate trying to hand it to her. That’s when the server picked the tomato and pickle off her plate and walked away from the table. We were all stunned by that and the next time the server came back my sister asked for the burger buns to be replaced because they had pickle juice on them THAT is when the server took the plate to the back to be redone. We also have time stamps in our group chat showing when my sister was sat and when we replied saying we were parking 2 minutes later.
The way you have responded feels extremely unprofessional. Implying that we have lied about our experience when that makes no sense considering we didn’t ask for a discount or any compensation and we also left a $40 cash tip which is more than we should have left for the service we got. If you have cameras I’d recommend you check them and see that she grabbed food off my sisters plate, because we gain nothing from making that up. Will absolutely not be coming back thanks.
