Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- CTChristopher Taylor1 day ago3.0This was my first time visiting a Wataburger. We waited at the drive through for a while even though there was only two vehicles in line myself and another van. The service was slow and truly not a great experience for my first visit. I will probably not be back.

In the few months it's been open, the location on the other side of 85 has consistently put out inaccurate orders in egregious wait times, offered no sympathy for making their customers wait for their food for nearly an hour at a time, regularly turned away business for employee poor temperment & claims of being overworked, and frankly just being poorly managed. Anytime I wanted a sandwich, I would always drive the extra 10 minutes in Woodruff traffic to this location over gambling with the one at 1114 Woodruff. Best of luck to you guys, I hope that other store inherited your team & expertise from your closure- they really need it.

According to the restaurant, "While we continue to grow in South Carolina, we’ve made the decision to close one of our four restaurants in Greenville. The restaurant closing is at 1466 Woodruff Road. This decision helps focus our efforts where we can make the biggest impact, ensuring our Guests continue to enjoy the high-quality, delicious food and genuine hospitality they’ve come to expect from Whataburger."
- TETim EvattMay 10, 20261.0No one watching the front counter, about 10 people waiting. A sign outside said free chicken sandwich. Never got mine even though I asked about it, once a human showed his face. Lots of other options on Woodruff Rd, don't need this one.

The staff were prompt about dropping fresh chicken and courteous enough to offer me a free drink while I waited. Great customer service if you ask me! Now, the BBQ Chicken Strip sandwich is only worth the $11.00 when it comes out hot and fresh. If I want cold strips, I can get them from McDonald's all day long for around $6. Hint for management : significantly reduce the time under the warming lamps for cooked items. Fresh is best!
