Raymond Griffin, known as “The Lost Cajun®,” is from Barataria, Louisiana.
After 15 years running Griffin Fishing Lodge, Raymond and his late wife Belinda faced repeated devastation from hurricanes and the oil spill. They chose to leave Louisiana and pursue their long-time goal: opening a Cajun gumbo shop in the Rockies.
In 2010, they opened their first location in Frisco, Colorado. Their authentic Cajun food and welcoming atmosphere quickly built a loyal following. A second location opened in Breckenridge in 2012, and the concept grew into a nationwide franchise.
Guests are treated like family, encouraged to sample, relax, and enjoy a true taste of Louisiana culture.
