  The food was decent and the service was good. The atmosphere could use some improvements. I did encounter something unusual. Buyer beware: We had a table of 5 and when it came time to pay the bill, our server came out to us with a remote card terminal. Before I could review the charges, he clicked on the highest tip option and moved onto the next screen. I wasn't sure what happened and I then questioned him about the tip. He hurriedly explained that gratuity is automatically added for parties with more than 4 members. Tipping should be based on the level of service and it should be at the client's discretion as to the amount, but never lower than 15%. But this was uncalled for. I doubt that I will dine there again.

  Outstanding food. Came for the lunch Buffett which has the usual suspects and a couple new dishes I hadn’t seen. Everything had its own distinct flavor and was excellent. Definitely my new go to in Greenville. (I’ve been to tons of Indian restaurants)

  The Amaravati is hands down the best Indian food we have had anywhere in Greenville. The food is spectacular and the staff are super nice. It’s great casual dining. We also have nut allergies in our family and they are extremely helpful and cautious with our orders. Tell all your friends! This place is one we return to over and over❤️

  This is my favorite restaurant in Greenville. We make trips up there specifically for the high quality food. I adore the atmosphere and that the staff is always nice. We have been going there since it opened and so that has been probably 20 times now... the food has always been good, fresh, and high quality. Granted, we don't get take out or anything so I can't speak on that. We always go for sit-down. The buffet is also always good (though the meat dishes usually get gone within minutes of being set out).

  I visited this restaurant for the Saturday buffet, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. I’ve been coming here regularly for the past year, and the food used to be much better 3 months ago. This time, most of the buffet items were either empty or not refilled on time. The dishes were extremely oily and lacked flavor. The quality and taste have dropped significantly. The desserts were also disappointing—the ice cream had completely melted and was almost like a liquid. The complimentary drink tasted like diluted Rasna. On top of that, there were quite a few flies inside the restaurant, and there was an unpleasant smell, which made the dining experience even worse. I genuinely hope the management takes this feedback seriously because this place used to be one of my favorites. Unless there are significant improvements in food quality, cleanliness, and buffet management, I don’t think I’ll be visiting again.
