  Can't give a review of the product because the kids had everything closed down except the chocolate counter by 810pm. We had walked by around 615 on our way to find dinner. We took note of the closing time...9pm...because it had been a while since we had ice cream or gelato. We had dinner at Stir and returned to the store by 810 to be sorely disappointed that we couldn't get the desserts we wanted. Ended up going to another nearby ice cream shop...

  We walked up to ask a simple question about the ice cream, and the employee was very rude and sarcastic. She swayed her hands over the sign and spoke slowly like we were dumb. She looked to be Asian for just a description of this person. When we asked for help, she responded by saying they had name tags 'for a reason,' which came across as unnecessary and unprofessional. The interaction made us feel unwelcome, so we decided to walk to another ice cream stand that had a long line and wait there instead. We'd rather wait for friendly service than be the only customers somewhere we don't feel valued.

  Super sweet and adorable sweet spot! Caramel apples, truffles, ice cream, candy - pretty much any thing you can think of. Very pretty and well kept, with super friendly staff!

  River Street Sweets is located on Main Street in downtown Greenville SC. I really enjoyed the candy store atmosphere and selection of ice creams, chocolates, candies, and so much more. The ice cream was very high quality, and priced reasonably. Definitely a stop to tasty flavors. The waffle cone was fresh, which is often one of my negative experiences. My personal score a 4.8.
